This detached house is situated at a TOP location, directly on the sea. It has a private beach.
For your 'own' door you can snorkel and / or dive!
The house is built against a cliff and therefore you look out over the sea from the house.
The property consists of 2 floors with a bedroom, bathroom and toilet on each floor and a private terrace by the sea. The upper part also has a kitchen, room with couch, 2 ceiling fans and walk-in closet in the bedroom.
Both bedrooms have air conditioning. In addition there is a ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom. The upper and lower part can be reached from the outside via a staircase.
The shutters in the windows everywhere in the house protect against the sun and leave wind of the sea at your choice. the bedroomwindows have also insectscreens. The terrace (facing south) is aprox. 15 meters above sea level which offers a great view. Dolphin and bird watching from your own terrace: fantastic! But schools of flying fish, flamingos can be seen well from that height. Take your binoculars with you too!
When the sky is clear you can see many, many stras at the sky.
Stair on site you reach the beach.
The entrance to the house is closed with a gate for which you get the key. Because the house is built against a cliff, the road is parallel to the roof, on which several cars can be parked.
For those who love peace, nature and a fantastic view this place is a TOP location!

This was only the second time in many years of travel that my wife and and I forfeited our rent and found another place to stay. (The other time was in Mumbai.) The following comments pertain to the upstairs apartment: The rooms are so cramped and poorly lit that it was depressing to spend any time indoors. The master bedroom is only slightly larger than the beds themselves; I measured it to be 50 square feet (4.5 square meters). The beds are slabs of foam. The gate for the parking spot did not work reliably. It was our good fortune that we were able to open it when we left after one night. The VRBO posting is highly misleading. We have rented many other properties using VRBO, and this is the only one where reality fell far short of expectations.

Wir haben 33 Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht die Zimmer sind zwar klein aber zweckmäßig dafür haben die >Terrassen eine vernünftige Größe.Unbeschreiblich schön ist die Aussicht auf das Meer und das Meeresrauschen .Ich kann diese Unterkunft bedenkenlos weiteremfehlen.Die Gastgeber sin sehr Freundlich und Hilfsbereit..

Snorkelling and sun
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen Urlaub, der unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen hat. Vor dem Haus eines der lebendigsten Korallenriffe von Curacao, auch wenn der Zugang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist. Toll sind auch die vielen vorbei fliegenden Vögel, unter anderen auch Pelikane, Fregattvögel und Karakaras. Im Meer kann man sogar Schildkröten vom Balkon aus sehen. Viele andere Strände sind schnell zu erreichen, man braucht aber sicher ein Auto. Die Lage des Hauses sollte man sich auf Google vorher ansehen, da das Haus etwas abgelegen liegt und das letzte Stück der Straße an einen besseren Feldweg erinnert. Man kann es aber gut finden. Das Haus geht über zwei Etagen, welche über eine Außentreppe miteinander verbunden sind. Auf dem Dach ist der Parkplatz, darunter die Etage mit Küche, Schlafzimmer, Bad, großem Balkon, unten das große Schlafzimmer mit kleinem Balkon und zweitem Bad. Beide Schlafzimmer sind mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Wir haben die obere Etage genutzt, da wir nicht dauernd zwischen der Oberen und der Unteren wechseln wollten. Wir waren im April/Mai da und hatten leider die Sonne nie auf dem Balkon und konnten nicht das schöne Sonnenuntergangsbild aus der Anzeige genießen. Dafür sind wir hoch aufs Dach und haben diese als Terrasse benutzt. Die Ausstattung ist ausreichend, es ist alles da was man braucht und das Wifi funktioniert gut. Die Kommunikation mit Ton ist schnell und unkompliziert. Die Bilder geben den Zustand des Hauses realistisch wieder.

Emplacement de rêve. On entendais le bruit des vagues contre les roches. On se réveillait aux chants d'oiseaux le matin. Chalet simple et de base il ne faut pas s'attendre au grand luxe. C'est notre 2e visite au même endroit et on reviendra à la même place l'année prochaine. Meilleur place de l'île pour plonger ou faire du snorkeling.(plage sauvage presque pas de monde). Ton ( la propriétaire) est d'une gentillesse et serviabilité absolue.

Hébergement mal propre, petit, avec de l'équipement très rustique. Le frigidaire est rouillé, le salon est minuscule avec un vieux divan. Chambre minuscule aussi, c'est le seul endroit où il y a de l'air climatisé. Lit correct, malgré la découverte de mille-pattes. La salle à manger est dehors, lorsque c'est le temps des insectes, c'est un enfer, même si on se met de l'insecticide. Le seul avantage est la baignade.

We loved our stay at Coral Cliff in Soto. The sound of the ocean against the cliff made sleep easy. The snorkeling at the house was great, when weather allowed it - definitely need shoes to get into the water safely. Weather was always perfect to use the covered deck as dining and living room. Great breezes meant we didn't have to use the A/C. Convenient to reach Westpunt and the Willbordus areas, we spent most of time exploring this end of the island. Close enough to Williamstead that we could make that trip as needed (covid testing, groceries, sightseeing). Ton and Janet were very helpful and responsive.

Best location ever!
Staying right on top of Coral Cliff is as amazing as it sounds! The house itself is very basic and I was slightly disappointed that some basic supplies were not provided (soap, coffee filters, trash bags, only 1 roll of toilet paper), but the location beats everything! Waking up to the sound of crashing waves, seeing flying fish straight from the balcony, and going for an afternoon snorkel from the convenient of your own place is truly worth it. Ton and hers were all very friendly and easy to communicate with. It seems that we might have been the first renters after Covid lock downs. The only real downside I can tell is that it was hard to find. With no cell phone service here, we had to depend on what the rental car company told us and circled on the map and Ton's description. Beware: roads are very different than in the US or Netherlands. We thought we ended up at some abandoned resort or private property and turned around thinking this wasn't the right road! Eventually, we met a nice gentleman who showed us the way and I followed him in my car. He took a turn on a dirt patch, took a very narrow road that seemed overgrown with bushes, and past a pile of rubble to eventually enter a nice neighborhood where the house was located! If I come back to Curacao, I will certainly check if this property is available again! Good for 2-4 people (two bedrooms with Queen sized beds and two bathrooms). Very small kitchen, but with all the lovely restaurants on Curacao, who would want to cook anyway?! I can recommend this place!

Sehr schön mit ein paar Abstrichen
Wir waren für 2 Wochen zum Tauchen auf der Insel und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit am Coral Cliff. Der Name ist hier Programm - direkt vor der Haustür liegt eines der schönsten Riffe, das wir auf Curacao betaucht haben. Allerdings ist der Einstieg über eine natürliche Steinklippe sehr schwierig. Besonders bei Wellengang ist es fast unmöglich von hier direkt ins Wasser zu kommen. Aufgrund der Bilder und Beschreibungen hätten wir einen einfacheren Einstieg erwartet. Wir haben es in 14 Tagen nur an zwei Tagen geschafft. Für ältere Menschen sicher unmöglich hier ins Meer zu gehen. Auch ist scheinbar nicht ganz geklärt, wer den Zugang zum Meer nutzen darf/kann. Wir hatten jedenfalls Diskussionen mit den Nachbarn, die den Zugang als "ihr Eigentum" benannten. Als Taucher sollte man sich nochmal versichern, ob man hier wirklich ins Wasser gelangen kann. Die Wohnung ist (wie schon in anderen Bewertungen erwähnt) schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die salzige Umgebung hat an manchen Stellen schon sehr am Haus genagt. Besonders die Fenster und Türen sind recht marode und verzogen. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Das ist kein Problem, so lange es nicht regnet. Dann peitscht der Regen auf die Terrasse, so dass man sich hier nicht mehr aufhalten kann. Sofort ist alles nass. In der Wohnung kann man dann kaum etwas machen. Gemeinsames Essen innerhalb der Wohnung ist auch für nur 2 Personen nicht möglich, da der Platz dafür fehlt. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist, genau wie auf den Bildern, einfach fantastisch. Man schaut direkt auf das Meer. Super schön und sehr entspannend. Die Höhe des Zimmers im unteren Stock ist sehr niedrig. Wir (1,82 und 1,74 m) mussten immer geduckt in die Wohnung gehen und haben uns trotzdem oft den Kopf an der Tür oder dem niedrigen, darüber hängenden Balkon gestoßen. In der Wohnung konnten wir stehen. Wenn man größer als 1,90 m ist, wird das aber nicht klappen. Generell hätten wir uns ein kleines bisschen mehr Sauberkeit gewünscht. Es gab Flächen, die definitiv nicht (vielleicht noch nie?) geputzt worden. Lichtschalter etc. sahen teilweise schon recht wüst aus. Gerade in Zeiten von Corona wäre ein stärkerer Fokus darauf sinnvoll. Auch hätten wir zumindest Handseife in den Badezimmern erwartet. Die Ausstattung in den Wohnungen ist einfach aber ausreichend. Die Küche ist gut sortiert - es gibt jede Menge Töpfe, Pfannen und Kochwerkzeug. Ton und ihre Freundin sind sehr nett, waren immer für uns ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Danke dafür

Wonderful time away from it all
We enjoyed our stay in Curacao immensely. Ton was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed the view from the cliffs at the house. A favorite part of the day was relaxing on the porch as the sun set. We would love to come again!

Das karibische Meer vor der Tür
Die Lage direkt an der a KÜ üste Die Lage direkt an der Küste ist sensationell. Die Lage insgesamt ist eher isoliert; man braucht definitiv ein Auto. Es gibt keine Infrastruktur in der Nähe. Das Haus ist wirklich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Einrichtung ist eher einfach. Das obere Schlafzimmer ist winzig. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Ton als Vermieterin ist toll, reagiert superschnell und zuverlässig. Reinigung ist eher durchschnittlich, aber nicht so schlecht. Wer nicht viel Wert auf Komfort legt und Ruhe sucht, ist dort gut aufgehoben.

We absolutely loved the location and the beautiful view. The best snorkeling on Curacao is out in front, when the sea lays down. Ton was very easy to communicate with as well as communicating with Siep at check in and check out. We can't wait to go back

Das Haus liegt direkt am Wasser mit super Blick aufs Meer. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin verlief reibungslos und war stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nichtsdestotrotz könnten viele Kleinigkeiten verbessert werden um dem Preis/Leistung Verhältnis gerecht zu werden. Treppen, Tor und Zaun zum Meer sind kaputt und man muss über das Grundstück vom Nachbar; wlan steht in der FeWo Beschreibung ist aber NICHT vorhanden; zusammengefasst könnte man sagen es ist in die Jahre gekommen und etwas Pflege und Aufbesserung würde nicht schaden. Trotzdem würden wir dieses Haus weiterempfehlen!

Rustige locatie met fantastisch uitzicht. Voorzieningen in het huisje zijn basic maar voldoen. Het schoonmaken kan beter, 1 x per week (goed) schoonmaken zou fijn zijn geweest.

Once in a lifetime trip
What an incredible trip. Being our first big vacation, we were a little hesitant. Ton answered all our questions and was more than willing to help us. She was accommodating and although we never met face to face, always available to us. We would return in a heartbeat, and hope to some day soon. The island is beautiful, you must checkout the restaurant “Kome” and try the pina colada's at Papagayo. Beautiful beaches, perfect weather, SO many things to do, and all with this beautiful view over coral cliff. Curaçao is a must see, and Ton’s home is the perfect place to do it. Advice: give yourself atleast 10 days to see/do everything! Never a dull moment!! Amazing trip - thank you Ton!

Basic maar netjes, Prachtige locatie.
Leuk huis, te klein als je veel in huis wilt zijn maar voldoende indien je buiten leeft, wat bij de temperaturen in Curaczo geen probleem mag zijn. Locatie is wat afgelegen , geweldig als je rust zoekt. Heerlijke snorkel- en duikplek bij het huis indien de zee niet te wild is.

woning op een super mooie plek aan zee.
's Ochtends na het wakker worden de terrasdeuren openslaan, het terras oplopen en uitzicht hebben op de zee en helemaal tot rust komen. Dat ultieme vakantiegevoel krijg je hier! Het huis is basic ingericht maar met alle voorzieningen die je nodig bent. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van de plek en de omgeving. Van hieruit kun je met de auto diverse uitstappen maken op de mooiste plekken van Curaçao oa de mooie stranden waar je kunt snorkelen.

Perfecte plek om tot rust te komen.
Genieten van het panorama uitzicht waar vogelliefhebbers de hele dag diverse vogels kunnen spotten. Het verblijf is perfect voor de vakantieganger die van snorkelen houdt. De zee met een mooi rif welke voor de woning ligt nodigt uit om een aantal keren per dag een duik te nemen in de grote aquarium waarin alle tropische vissen voor je neus zwemmen. Met de huurauto kun je binnen een half uurtje alle mooie stranden in de buurt bezoeken en ook het Christoffelpark voor mooie wandelingen. Zelfs Willemstad is niet ver en ook een avondbezoek is aan te bevelen. Het appartement is niet voor de uitgaander maar wel een geweldige plek om tot rust te komen. We hebben deze locatie voor de tweede keer bezocht en telkens waren we weer onder de indruk van de heldere zee met het kalmerende geluid van de golfen op het unieke plekje aan de Coral Cliff. We willen iedereen die van de zon houd maar niet op een overvol strand wil liggen deze plek van harte aanbevelen.

Fantastische plek!
Wat een fantastische plek en wat een rust heeft deze plek ons gegeven! Vanaf het terras zie je de vissen in het kraakheldere water. En vanaf het terras konden we bijna elke avond de zon in de zee zien zakken. Geweldig! Voor het huis konden we de zee in om te snorkelen en duiken. De plek om dit te doen was mooier dan de vele andere plekken op het eiland om dit te doen. Het huis was schoon en bevatte alles wat we nodig hadden voor een heerlijke vakantie. Het bevatte geen extra luxe. Het contact met de eigenaar verliep prettig en er werd snel gereageerd als we een vraag hadden. Het huis is echt een aanrader!
