"My wife and I drove the coast of Maine, from Portland, up to the West Quoddy Head Light. The overnight stay we had at Barncastle, was easily the best stay we had all trip. Between the beautiful grounds it sat on, the staff being so wonderful and accommodating, as well as the meal we at there, I'm not sure why you wouldn't make this a stop while in Maine.
