Well situated with a short drive to the cbd. The motel is on the South side of the river whilst most other accommodation is on the north. Still it was an easy drive to get anywhere in the city. We had a family room which was a 2 bedroom with 5 beds in all. Very good value. The room smelt a bit due to wet carpet around the windows. No window in the bathroom. Could get a bit smelly.

Stayed at the Heritage River Motor Inn on our trip from Sydney with my mother and daughter, and were extremely impressed. I am always skeptical of staying at motels, however, the room was immaculate and extremely spacious. Even the pool, which is surrounded by trees, was lovely and clean. Very nice to relax in on a 36 degree day. On top of that, we had a bunch of issue's leading up to our stay, no fault of the establishment, and Fred in management could not be more accomodating. It just made our experience that much more pleasant. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Clean Quiet Place

Great location for travelling. The reception was pleasant and friendly on arrival and also on checkout. Our room was very clean. The bed was medium firm and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for the shower and it was nice to have a plug for the bathroom sink which reduces water usage when shaving. There was also 2 complimentary bottles of water cold in the fridge on arrival, which made a nice touch. There is also a small group of shops 100 metres away which include a supermarket, liquor and pizza shop etc.

Best stopover

Room 7 absolutely fabulous. Under cover parking at the door, no steps. Steepish driveway but no problem unless you have issues. Easy car access. Fantastic gardens.
