Come to South Haven and enjoy everything Lake Michigan has to offer.

Location and Surrounding Area:
Located in Miami Park, a quiet neighborhood 5 miles north of downtown South Haven shops and restaurants. 3 minute walk to a private beach, which is accessible via the tram (out-door elevator) down the bluff to the newly finished revetment which is adjacent to the beach. The beautiful scenic area is a wonderful place to watch the sunsets or spend a sunny warm day playing in the water. You can view the lake from the beach, bluff or revetment. Or spend the afternoon at a winery , brewery or cider house. Fantastic location to hang out and take in the sunny days of summer, or have a winter retreat.

If you prefer larger beaches there are several within a 7 minute drive. Home is located a mile from Kal-Haven biking trail which includes miles of scenic biking and walking trails that the entire family can enjoy. Local winery also located less than a mile away.

Home Interior:
Recently renovated this special home is equipped with everything you need,. Newer plumbing, heating, appliances, laundry, and kitchen and a large Hot Tub that holds 8 people. A brand new whole house generator just incase! The home has 5 bedrooms, 2 separate living rooms, 3.5 baths, fireplace, a covered porch, a deck, screened in porch, game room (pool, ping pong and foosball), and kids bunk room. The kitchen is well stocked as well as the whole house with games, towels and linens. Just bring your beach towel, chairs, ride the tram to the beach and ENJOY!! Fun for the whole family!!

Home Exterior:
Extremely large and private backyard with trees surrounding the perimeter. Out door shower, log cabin playhouse for the kids, swing set, large outdoor grill and circular fire pit!

Peaceful beach vacation
Great location peaceful setting. The private beach is difficult to access with young children and not very big. The public beaches are close by and very nice. Great yard and swings clubhouse for children to play in while adults relax nearby.

The place could use some new towels, they were all pretty old, dirty and were missing bath mats and hand towels. Each bedroom had different temperature issues, some were too hot, others were cold. But the beach is fun and pretty so 😀🐸

Spring Getaway
We had a lovely stay, fully enjoying the hot tub, game room, fire pit, playhouse, and private beach. The stairs down the bluff weren’t open yet for the season, but the trams were easy to use and a bit of an adventure each time. The beach was quiet and empty while we were there. There are a lot of beach rocks in the water for looking for fossils etc…but those with sensitive feet may want to bring water shoes. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it for families with multiple age ranges to entertain!

Great fall getaway!
We loved our long-weekend stay! A lot of space for anyone who needs to WFH a little before getting back to the big group. Loved how much room there way to stay in, watch movies, play some board games, use the game room and generally spend time together with a big group. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub & the quick stroll to get to the private beach for some fresh air. We had 8 friends, but more could have easily fit. Love it!

Great Location, home has it all
This house is in a great location: close to the lake, close to amenities, things to do, etc. It has loads of space and beds for many people to stay. The hot tub was a big bonus. Full kitchen with all you would need. Our group had a fabulous time staying at this house. Only thing to mention is the driveway is only large enough for four vehicles. Something to keep in mind if a group has several friends/families coming from different origins. We would definitely stay here again should we choose to visit the area again. Nothing better than being so close to Lake Michigan.

Everything you need!
We had family members come from Chicago, Toledo, and NYC to celebrate the 1st bday of our granddaughter. (FYI...Julia's Bakery makes the most wonderful vegan carrot cake!) It was the perfect place for everyone to spread out...spend time together...have fun...and relax. We spent time in the hot tub, sat by the bonfire, played in the playhouse, played games/pool/foosball, grilled out, walked on the beach and even hit a couple brewpubs in town. Great location and the host was fantastic! Would definitely recommend!

This house was perfect for my parents, my sister's family, my uncle's family and mine. We had plenty of room to spread out and the backyard was perfect. We enjoyed walking down to Lake Michigan and my 4 year old even learned to hit a baseball!

House was perfect for our group of adults and kids! Great yard and so many toys, books, etc. for the kids. The sunset views were incredible! The stairs and tram down to the lake were great and we used them easily. Owner was great and answered any questions very quickly. It’s a great place!

Perfect Family Gathering!
Absolutely perfect place for our family to get together and spend a weekend hanging out! A very close walk to the beach, the tram to get you down onto the beach (so helpful!) and a great responsive host! We will be coming back to this gem of a property for future gatherings! Great home for family vacation
Enough room for us and our kids and grandkids to enjoy time together playing games and having fun over spring break. The kids found a box of toys under the bunk bed and a basket of books in addition to the ping pong and playhouse out back. We enjoyed the warm hot tub even when it was forty degrees out. The owner was so friendly and sent someone out right away when the fireplace wouldn't start. The pilot light had blown out during a recent storm.

Great for Families
We enjoyed our last minute weekend stay very much! The house is clean, bright and airy- kitchen was well stocked for cooking, beds were comfortable and layout was perfect for families with kids! Our kids loved playing in the snow in the yard and the playhouse. Even in the snow we enjoyed a walk down to the beach. Charese is a great hostess and communication was very smooth.
