Those with mobility issues will appreciate step-free access to the bathroom and bedroom, accessible-height toilet and bed, wide clearance to bed, and wide hallway entrance.

The fully equipped kitchen features all the appliances you need to prepare a meal for your group. After dinner, you can break out the provided board games, then finish the day with some quiet time in the primary bathroom's jetted tub before slipping into a restful sleep.

not like the pictures
the pictures for this rental are prob 1t least ten years old, there is NO grass in the back yard, all dead, holes in the fence.the upstairs shower does not drain.the ice maker does not work, there is no garden hose, the Hot tub was empty and not working, the washing machine was " out of order" the wood flooring was installed incorrectly and has no molding, the door jabs and base boards all are chipped up and need re painting. the home has about 12 diffferent apliance remote controlls, you dont know what goes to what. throw away all those antiquated TVS and get a ROKU tv. its all apps , FREE. you dont need to pay the cable service as it works on the internet. over all very disappointing, it seems the owners and property managers are just using this as a cash cow. thats cool, but the pictures on the site are false as it does not look like the pictures. bad .

Cozy cabin weekend with friends
This was a great spot for a weekend of exploring Tahoe with friends. Quiet woodsy neighborhood. Cozy living room for hanging out. Little play area with toys for the kids. Closely located to the town of South Lake Tahoe as well as Emerald Bay. Easy check in/out process. Gif a quick response when we had a question. Would definitely stay again.

This cabin was very cozy and relaxing. Very private and just minutes from town. The only issue we had was no internet connection for our personal devices. Property management did troubleshoot with us via text but nothing worked to fix the issue.

A handful of problems with a few almost redeeming qualities
For a family of four, it’s a good size property with a great location. Nearly walkable for nearby snow tubing, and a short drive to groceries and a reasonable drive to the lake. First problem was a broken garage door. The instructions indicated that garage access was the primary, but the door failed to open. I called in but did not receive a response until many hours later, and not until the evening did we get an explanation. The side backup door was very finicky, thankfully the spouse tried again after I did and we managed to get into the property. The side area was accessible but very slippery. It seems that the local team knew and had already scheduled a repair team, but they did not inform the rental company. Entry into the house was quite awkward for our stay. For those who plan on cooking, the cookware is barely usable. While I’m used to vacation homes having cheap pans, these pans were irredeemably scratched up (bare metal showing), with burns and warping (wouldn’t lay flat). There was only one baking pan and no Pyrex bakeware. From a serving perspective, there is a 4 person dining table with high seating. If you plan on having more than 4 members, you’ll be unable to find a spot for all of them to eat. The bunk bed was missing it’s ladder, so it wasn’t usable. Having many kids toys was nice, but many were incomplete or missing pieces. There was a Pac-Man arcade station that turned on but had busted buttons. It would make the house less cluttered to simply remove all these nonfunctional elements rather than leave them in the house. The fit and finish of the house also had some issues. Some outlets were missing covers. Some floor transition trim had popped up. There are lots of exposed cables for lamps, tvs, so it’s a bit of a hazard if you have babies in the family. The lack of a door in the loft area is awkward, and the loft area is not well lit at night time. We did enjoy the master bathroom amenities. The backward had built up enough snow to make a great sledding path. The price for the space was reasonable, but would probably prefer a better finished and furnished property at a higher price

Lucky snow holiday!
Great spot to access Heavenly and Kirkwood. Easy to get to shops. Could use some love to make the home neater- stuff everywhere that isn’t needed. Fire place didn’t work easily so didn’t use it which was disappointing. Very little glasses for the number it accommodates. Great number of beds and places to to put wet clothes away from inside house. The garage was a great space.

Extremely Disappointing
“Bait Box” in the living room. Not sure if anyone ever checks it. Dirty dishes with food put away in drawers. 2/3 TVs aren’t smart. House has no cable tv (listed) why have a tv in the room then? Had to remove brick of ice from freezer to use ice maker. DVD player hanging from mounted tv Fireplace didn’t work. DNA stain on couch. Also couch is 6/7 pieces and none of them attach.

Cute, but there's a few things that could be improved.
Overall, for the price, this was a good choice. Things that I loved: The bathtub and shower in the main room. Things that could be better: The front and back yard should be landscaped and maybe have some furniture. There was no door on the Master room and it was in direct view of the children's bunk beds which makes it super awkward. Even adding a privacy screen or curtain would really be nice. I didn't need the kids to see us. The dishwasher door falls open fast and hurts your legs. Adding a blender to the house would be great.

Mostly comfortable but still disappointing
This home was warm and very clean with plenty of hot water, all good in the mountains. But the pictures make it look more spacious than it is. And with limited space, I'd have appreciated less clutter, since in all rooms but the new master bedroom and bath, the A-frame design limits the usable space. Though they advertise for 6 people, that's just for beds. The dining table had only 4 chairs, so two of us were always standing. Hardest though, was that the bed frame downstairs was broken, and sleeping on a sloping bed for a night certainly wasn't restful. The managers offered to come that night but with check in at 4pm and unpacking with little kids and back and forth messaging, just too tired to stay up and wait. They took care of it the next morning, though the rest of my stay felt the bed was still a bit off, probably just do to the mattress needing rotating. Left wondering why the management company missed these important issues.

Quirky house.
We had a good time, however, there are things you may want to be aware of. The downstairs bedroom has a large closet and a good sized dresser. The dresser is in the closet and both dresser and closet are full and unavailable for guests to use. You will have one small nightstand drawer. The #1 reason we reserved this home was to have a hot tub. We asked for and got confirmation before booking that the hot tub was available and working. It was not working. After having the repair man out three times and getting the pump replaced it still was not working. We were so very disappointed because, as I said, it was the main reason for taking this house over nicer, less expensive ones. Every time we called Vacasa they responded quickly if not immediately. They kept us informed and tried to get the issue resolved. We have no problems with our communication with them and they did give us a partial refund for the non-working hot tub. The upstairs master bedroom has no door which we found incredibly odd. So whoever is staying in the loft area looks straight into the master bedroom. Our very small granddaughter stayed there which was fine with us, but if it was full of teenagers it would be awkward for everyone. FYI. If you have small children, (we had a 1 year old and 3 year old), they can fit very easily through the loft and stairs railing. We ended up tying sheets to the loft railings so they couldn’t see through to the floor below thus removing the temptation to stick their heads through and possibly falling. We watched them very carefully on the stairs. Also, along that line, anyone staying on the top bunk in the loft, if they decided to climb over the end instead of down the ladder they could possible fall all the way down the stairs. There’s nowhere to hang your clothes in the master bedroom but you do have a good sized dresser. We couldn’t get the tv to produce anything but static. If it works, instructions would be appreciated. The master bathroom is incredible. The tub and shower were very much enjoyed. The kitchen was small but very useable and they had everything we needed. It would be nice to have bbq utensils, but we made it work. It was nice having a washer and dryer. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and the neighbors were friendly.

Weekend getaway
This property was rented for a weekend getaway for me some friends. There were just three of us. The master bath is wonderful! Amazing shower with tons of water pressure and huge jetted tub. I would caution that the hot tub is a bit small, only fits 2 people and the cover is quite heavy.

Not what we rented
House was advertised as 3 bedrooms. It has one bedroom and two open bedrooms in the loft. Only one bedroom is private. It was advertised as being in South Lake Tahoe but it is in Meyers and you cannot get the address until you rent it. Both VRBO and Vacasa charged rental management fees. VRBO was not highlighted in the total price and was billed separate. The hot tub barely fit two people and the bathtub is bigger. Overall paid xxx for night that rented for less than half thanks to exhorbitant cleaning fee for one night and management fees on top of management fees. No key. Vacasa only gave the garage code and did not explain you must enter/exit through grarage and not key code or key..

Roomy, comfortable layout with the privacy we sought
Once we got the rental company to help us get a/c working and figured out how to get the DVDs to play, it was nothing but a pleasure to stay here. The beds were comfortable, the master bathroom with the steam/waterfall shower was perfect after a day hiking around, and the solid walls around the Jacuzzi, for additional privacy, was a nice touch. A big fridge/freezer was also welcome after many of the mini-fridges we've had to deal with in even some of the fancier hotel rooms we've stayed in. It may not have been the closest location to the Lake, but we didn't want to be around the noise and bustle when it was time to call it a night and it was perfect for us no matter which side we wanted to explore being only a few miles from the "Y" split of Highways 86/50.
