Head in the opposite direction and head to Camden another beautiful spot! The gardens needed some attention and the lighting could be better in the kitchen (we are not fans of overhead fluorescents). Some foil, measuring cups and olive oil would be great too. "This rental was clean and the perfect size. The view out back is breathtaking. This rental showcases all of the natural beauty that Maine is famous for. The air conditioning was cold and the water in the shower was hot. All linens were crisp and white. The driveway was a challenge to navigate, however it is manageable. We hope to stay here again."

"Bill was so very nice and 100% accommodating. His place was very neat and clean. The property is very well maintained, private and peaceful. His cousin , Darcy, lives 2 doors down and is readily available should there be any questions or concerns.We enjoyed the lions at night and the stars were mesmerizing along with the fireflies. Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to returning next year."

"Loved this spot. The lake was beautiful. We had a wonderful time even though the weather was bad a few days. The cabin was so cute and decorated very nice. The kitchen was stocked well. We had everything we needed. Loved hearing the loons at night. It wasn't too far from Camden that we visited frequently. I hope to come back there some day."

The house was in a perfect location with access to the water and kayaks/paddle boards. We spent a lot of time on the patio enjoying the view and using the fire pit. We did a lot of activities on the water and in freeport with the ll bean outdoor adventures We had great weather all week and excellent seafood and sea food restaurant choices all within 15 minutes of the property We all enjoyed the week and was exactly as we had expected. We rented kayaks which we could put in right there and paddle either direction on the beautiful pond, away from tourist sounds. This peninsula, the Pemaquid, is an ideal location, just 1-1/4 hrs from the Portland Airport, and a world apart, in lovely lobster-coves Maine. Mary Berger, your hostess is The Best, and you ‘ll love everything about her and this rental house. "
