The room was clean and fresh, all staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good for the price you paid has help yourself with a options of cooked, cereal, toasted and cold breakfast available. The hot tub did not get round to using it .

I read the reviews after booking and to be honest I was not expecting much, but it was lovely. Room spacious and clean, bathroom clean and well stocked. Lots of tea and coffee in room, along with biscuits. Are in the hotel, excellent hot food!!

Excellent staff, reception staff extremely so. Spacious hotel with excellent facilities. Sadly the lower floors of the hotel were uncomfortably cold.

Nice comfortable room and bed. Pleasant staff at reception. We just arrived slept 1 night and left in the morning. No complaints here. Would be nice to go back and spend a couple nights and try out all the other facilities that are available

The accomodations was nice, the reception staff and porterage were VERY good. It's a nice location and parking is easy, although the lane to the hotel is quite busy with golf traffic at times. The bar and restaurant was fair at best, little choice for a hotel bar and many offerings that were listed on menu's for Gins and food menus not actually available. If you're in a rush don't order food, if you're not desperate expect 40-50 minutes wait between tapping your card at the bar and picking up your eating irons...

I hadn't stayed in aBritannia Hotel for quite a number of years because standards had slipped. This hotel really surprised me, it was of a high standard and immaculately presented. Helpful staff and the late check in was ideal as we arrive by cross channel ferry so we knew that we would be late checking in. Its a pity that we didn't have time to use the spa and golf course.

Peaceful

A lovely relaxing evening in the spa. Just what we needed to unwind from a stressful week at work. The hotel room was lovely and clean, with a comfortable bed. We were in a quiet part of the hotel and was not disturbed by noise. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back.
