Food in the tipi was also great, would have liked to have seen some more sweet breakfast and healthy options though. It would also be great if there was an on-site shop to buy any groceries/essentials to save having to drive elsewhere."

"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."

"I was amazed at the high standard for money here. Super-comfortable and spacious apartment with lovely touches such as a fresh fruit bowl, breakfast items and coffee machine. Very nice lady there to check me in. Tiny quibbles : I got the email via hotels.com with check in instructions on the day of my check-in, and I was driving so never saw it until after check in. Would be better to send the day before. Also, idiot-proof instructions for the coffee machine and dishwasher would have helped me!...

"We absolutely loved staying in the Captain's Cabin. Bourton on the Water is in a great location for day trips, but we had to pull ourselves away from this adorable and bustling little village. Location of the Captain's Cabin is quiet and peaceful, but just a two minute walk to all that Bourton on the Water has to offer! We loved ending our days cuddling up by the fire and had the best sleep in the charming and comfortable bedroom. "

"Very central to various places in the Cotswolds but such a joy to return to and to get up in each morning. Everything was there that we needed and I enjoyed the outside space to sit and read a bit and to dry some laundry. So bright and airy, roomy….we just loved Exchange Cottage and would stay there again in a heartbeat."

"Accommodation is located centrally and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen is a lovely space to come together with family. Add £13 per day for parking as the place has not its own parking. The place is clean but I gave it a 3 for cleaning because there were empty food boxes behind the desk in the main bedroom. Towels were clean but old . Communication was great and we will definitely go back again but will ask them to pay a little more...

"We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. The children found lots to do at the hoburne site and we could relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a wonderful base ro explore the area. "

"The cottage was absolutely perfect for our party of 12 & our host mrs joyce was absolutely lovley. Check in & out was very easy and the property itself very easy to find even though its out in the beautiful countryside . The cottage was spacious and clean & we were all adequately accomodated the children were happy playing in the games room & the pool the house is ideal for a relaxing get-away every one really enjoyed thier stay we will definitely book again. "This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water...

"Beautiful accommodation one minute walk from Woodstock High Street and square. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Bus stop to Oxford at end of road and costs £2. We stayed in Tailors suite which is a self contained flat, as opposed to studio flat, access to lovely garden and off road parking. Highly recommend this property. Our host Pauline was absolutely lovely, very welcoming and made us feel at home. All in all, a perfect stay!"
