"Superb bed. Nice rooftop pool area"

"Lovely hotel in a quiet location, near to the beach by taxi 10 mins, walking 20 mins. Hotel was beautifully decorated, staff were all lovely and friendly. The sea view rooms were better as not over the pool with all the music noise. My room had a leak from the shower in to the toilet and bedroom, which didn't get fixed after 4 nights. The pool area was lovely although they have about 25 massive speakers all around the pool area playing music non-stop all day long, which at times can be a bit annoying, and a few times I had to ask if they can turn it down a bit, 80db especially the speakers are right by your head. But they understood. Its more for younger people who like music all day long, but not very relaxing. The breakfast was ok, but bit basic and slow to get any service or help. The front desk and bar staff were very attentative and couldn't do enough to help. A great place to stay with friends for just a few days to party, but not if you want peace and quiet. "

"We only had issue with air conditioner. When you open the patio door the air goes off (they told us that would happen) you just have to turn it back on. Ours didn’t stay on once turned on. We called front desk and they said they needed to restart the system for us. After that, everything was fine. Even with that situation the staff immediately addressed it. Loved this hotel. "

"Staff greets you so warmly everyday and offered suggestions and assistance on how to get around, where to eat and things to do. They thoroughly looked like they enjoyed hearing about my daily outings…. I loved ending the evening with a nice drink on the rooftop , spectacular views of the acropolis. Very centrally located, just steps from the Parthenon, the museum and plaka neighborhood "

They were treated VERY differently upon check in than we were, clearly the hotel prefers direct bookings over Expedia bookings. Aside from that, it was a wonderful experience. "
