"Parking availability was very important, and with their own car park, this wasn't a problem. £20 for 24 hours, not too bad. Staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Room was really nice, with a great big window letting in the morning sun. Bathroom was large and clean. Shower was lovely."

"Good stay. Comfortable room with everything you need. Liked the galley on each floor for tea/coffee with real milk rather than the UHT cartons you usually get! Location was good for me - pleanty of pubs/restaurants around the area."

There is no bank at all in Sowerby Bridge and it looks like things are running down. The bus service is excellent. I don't recall seeing any clothes , shoes or jewellery shops

The roads are extremely steep and narrow, you need patience and preferably a 4 wheel drive!!
