My eight-year-old twins loved climbing some of the local peaks, going to high-wire parks and local swimming pools. "There were six of us staying here for a week partly for the Austrian MotoGP. We had a few problems finding the chalet initially and the dirt track up to it takes a bit of getting used to on motorbikes, but once we found it, it was perfect. Very clean and well equipped, the only thing it would benefit from would be fans in the top two bedrooms as it was really hot at night. "After a very smooth check-in process, we arrived at this lovely home right in the heart of Hohentauern and were pleased to find it exactly as described. "The hotel is located within an easy walk to the old town. The spa is connected to the hotel underground. The weather was terrible when we were there and so we had dinner in the hotel restaurant that turned out to be wonderful. Staff and service were great. The spa really makes this place special (although some Americans may not be comfortable with mixed-sex nudity, which is required in the sauna areas). "
