This newly renovated beach-side cottage is nestled within one of Vilano Beach's original seaside neighborhoods. Sand paths meander from the cottage towards the dune-lined beach walk for easy access to the ocean. (You do not have to cross A1A or drive to get to the beach )

Outside the home, you’re sure to feel the cool saltwater breeze while lounging by your private pool! Enjoy refreshing dips in the morning before lounging on the poolside deck. During the day, head to the beach or chill at home and challenge your friends at the regulation-size horseshoe pit and other outdoor games.

Inside this 2-story home, originally constructed in 1943, you’ll find new grey-washed laminate hardwood flooring. Bright colors and tasteful accents of nautical decor boost your mood and help relax the mind. A large L-shaped couch awaits for you to unwind in front of the flat-screen Smart TV with family and friends.

Cook up a new seafood recipe or entertain with ease in the fully equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, and a chic breakfast bar with table. Bring the feast outside to the large viewing deck to share while enjoying the beautifully landscaped gardens sprinkled with swaying palm trees.

The downstairs master bedroom offers a queen bed and a pullout bed that accommodates up to 2 travelers. Upstairs, you’ll find the second and third bedrooms - each with queen beds and their own flat-screen LED Smart TV. Each bedroom has access to an outdoor deck with seating and the bedrooms now have white-noise makers to increase sleeping comfort.

Kids can have their own unique space in the spacious loft that provides a twin bed with twin trundle and small TV with DVD player.

Everyone will be able to stick to his or her morning routine in one of the 2 elegantly designed bathrooms that both boast a double vanity.

Publix grocery store and several restaurants within walking distance. Vilano Beach Pier 0.5 Miles. Nature walk across the street. When staying on Vilano beach this beach house has the shortest drive time to get to historic St. Augustine.

We heat the pool October - April. As long as the temperature stays above 63 degrees we can keep the pool at 85 degrees. If the temperature drops below 63 degrees the pool temperature will drop proportionately.

There are two security cameras on the property. One is on the south-west corner of the property outside facing the driveway. The other is monitoring the garage. The garage is locked and off limits to guests.

Great location with beautiful pool
Went with 4 adults and 2 kids - the pool was beautiful surrounded by lovely landscaping, perfect temp for swimming. Beach was a short walk away and not a crowded section due to houses all around - hotels a few blocks away. Short (less than 10 min) drive to gorgeous downtown area. Host very nice and responsive - very organized and house and property very well cared for. Would definitely go here again!

Very nice home and worked great for our week at the beach
Overall a nice accommodation because we had good weather. Because there were eight of us, we had to eat outdoors every meal. Had we had rain this would have been a bit problematic as there was no space to set up a large table inside. The pool was awesome and it was close to the beach. The beds were super comfortable and it had a well equipped kitchen.

Amazing Home!
My family & I stayed for the weekend to celebrate my husband’s Birthday… we were all impressed with how beautiful this home is. Each room is tastefully decorated, each bathroom stocked with fresh, clean towels. The kitchen has a view of the ocean and it is stocked with spices, pots & pans, utensils, glasses, plates, bowls just about everything you need to make a meal! The beach access is a short walk from the house. The pool is great… heated just right! Thank you for such a lovely home to celebrate a very special occasion. We highly recommend booking this home!

Clean home, great pool for kids.
We enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Vilano beach was beautiful, sparsely populated, and perfect for long walks. It was a bit chilly while we were visiting so the children were very happy that the pool was heated and they spent a lot of their time swimming. I didn’t realize the home was located at such a busy intersection when I booked, but the noise from traffic didn’t end up interfering with our sleep and the beds were nice and comfortable. On the plus side of the location, it was right across the street from a grocery store and not too far of a walk to get to the beach. I would recommend!

Quick Stop
This was a quick stop for us as part of a roadtrip. Had never visited St. Augustine so it was an opportunity to check it out and we were very pleased! House and host are outstanding. This place has everything, and if you do manage to find yourself in need, there’s a nice Publix grocery store within walking distance. Nice beaches all around, but the heated pool oasis was the star of the show as we visited in December and gale force winds made the ocean a no-go regardless of temps. Despite the uncooperative weather it was a great time in an awesome place. Thanks to the host for sharing this property, it really made our first visit to St. Augustine a memorable one.

Best Stay in St Augustine Area!
So fortunate to have found such a wonderful rental. The house was both comfortable and convenient! Under a 2 minute walk to the beach. Short walk to Vilano town center. The location was right at the foot of Vilano Bridge which made driving to historic district and Route 1 a snap. Pool was relaxing. Beach stuff (wagon, chairs, umbrellas, pails & toys were all an added bonus. The house was well stocked with both bath & beach towels, beds were extremely comfortable, and I am very picky when it comes to sleeping. The owner was a true delight to work with! Thank you John for a perfect stay.

Family beach stay
Stayed with my son's family and brother's family to visit our family and the beach in St. Augustine/Vilano beach. The house was perfect. Outdoor area gorgeous, we all enjoyed the pool and loved the extra protective measures of gates surrounding pool since we had little ones there. So close to the beach area, just a 2 min walk so many of us were there often. Also, being able to walk across street to the Publix was so convenient. It took only minutes to get to historic St. Augustine. Only downside with property is griddle and grill too small to cook for our larger group but close to so many wonderful restaurants like the Reef and Aunt Kate's. Would definitely stay again

Vilano Beach Home
This little home was perfect for a getaway with friends! I love how they have an actual vacuum in the house so we could sweep the sand up (other rentals I’ve been to, have not). Only thing I can think of that was a slight annoyance was the location of the house, is right at a stop light getting off the bridge from st Augustine to Vilano. It’s really noisy (lots of honking). We brought our own fan to sleep with, thank goodness, and was never woken by the traffic. Overall 5 stars for this home. It was a fantastic stay and very clean!

Great Place!
Our family of 4, which include two teenage daughters loved our stay at Vilano Beach. Close to St. Augustine and all area attractions yet the home feels like it’s own mini oasis with the private heated pool and a short walk to a quiet beach. We had a little snag with the automatic door code not working but we heard right back from the owner who was able to get everything to work for us. John is friendly and easy to work with. The home is located near a busy intersection and although you don’t rally notice the sounds to much during the day they can be loud at night if you are used to living in the country as we are. The space was great and allowed everyone to have their own privacy while also being able to enjoy being together in the pool area. The pool area has a great mix of sun and shade which was nice. We enjoyed our family time immensely and would definitely come back in the future.

Wonderful Family Vacation
This rental went above and beyond our expectations. The beach is about a 2-3 minute walk. The heated pool was amazing, even on the cooler days. The kitchen is well stocked. There were 6 of us, my husband and myself, our son and daughter-in-law, and our daughter and her boyfriend. We each had a great private space while also enjoying the great shared space. The first morning when we stepped outside, the neighbor walked over and asked how many people were staying there because the last group was noisy on the deck after dark. My husband assured him we were a quiet group, however did feel the general approach of the neighbor was a bit awkward. We didn't have any further interactions.....but just wanted to share. We would love to visit again. Amazing ❤️
