"Lovely room with hottub overlooking the lake - magical at night. Room was well appointed with nespresso for excellent morning coffee. Good sized swimming pool perfect for sunny days. And very kind and helpful staff."
"Great view of the river. room is dated but clean. grounds well kept . chairs and table outside to sit overlooking the river. Very friendly Cat too ! 2nd year staying here , would stay again . "
"Beautiful home. Great amount of space for large family gathering. All amenities were fantastic. Speaking French since the place is in Quebec will help tremendously especially if you buy supplies on the Canadian side of the border. Crossing the border to the US for supplies did take extra time but not prohibitive.Only issues we had was keeping the place cool enough one of the hottest days of the year. There is only one A/C unit at the top of the central staircase on the second floor. Otherwise the breeze and air flow through the house worked great to keep the place comfortable. Also we could not get the main fireplace flue open to avoid smoke in the house. Overall I wish the price was cheaper for our stay but the memories we made will last forever. Host was very responsive within an hour or less for any issues."
"We did enjoy the property; the facility and staff are top notch. What was missing was complimentary coffee in the lobby but there was coffee for purchase there. Coffee maker coffee in the room is not as good and there was only coffee whitner (powder) rather than milk/cream. The restaurant on site was Thai which didn't appeal to us nor would it appeal to families with young children. Other than that, it was a great experience. "
"L'appartement contenait tout ce qu'il faut et était propre.Cependant nous nous serions attendus à ce que les postes de la télévision comprennent à tout le moins Radio Canada de Montréal. Les postes prévus se rapportaient à la Saskatchewan, l'Acadie, et autres villes canadiennes, sauf Montréal. Les nouvelles des autres provinces ne m'intéressent pas. L'appartement est au Québec dont on s'attend à avoir un poste de télévision du Québec."
Modern Lake House with Spa on Champlain Lake, Venise-en-Québec
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed with our family during American Thanksgiving and we had a great time. There are about 6 steps to the property. Our 98 year-old grandfather had no problem using his rollator indoors and moving around, this was very important for us. The views were amazing, especially from the hot tub. If you would like to enjoy higher tides, we recommend visiting during the summer.
