"What a beautiful property! Very relaxing which is exactly what we needed! Enjoyed feeding the koi and watching the frogs in the small pond. The firm bed was perfect for my bad back. Secluded peaceful spot,yet close enough to get supplies and sightseeing. We enjoyed the gravel bar and the river. The hot tub was wonderful! We will definitely be planning a return visit!"

"This place was so cute. We immediately noticed how clean it smelled when we opened the door- & it was spotless. Everything was thoughtfully stocked (bathroom & kitchen). The place was very cozy and styled well, and everything was up-to-date. Not the most beautiful area of town (but maybe that’s just St James) -it’s a little old/run-down- but we felt safe enough walking the dog through the neighborhood. And that’s huge for 2 women traveling alone. Definitely recommend this place!"

"We loved the spectacular views from the bluff house. We watched the morning sun burn away the fog in the river valley below, and the large birds below gliding on the updrafts. We walked the short path to the bench on the natural point below and marveled at the pastoral beauty of the pastures of green below, spotted with contented cattle. We drove a couple miles to the Clifty Creek trail and explored the natural bridge. In the evening we gathered around the campfire, if full view of the scene...
