The area around the hotel is fast changing and was once very run down. It is coming up quickly now and the promenade in particular is clean, safe, well designed, and nice place to hang out and walk down to the Old Town in Hastings.

Amazing history
"This hotel has an amazing history and needs to be supported so it can be preserved. Our room was a really good size (triple) and had a separate dressing area. The breakfast was excellent value. "Loads of communication from time of booking,was even able to check in early and check out late. Place is exactly as described in a great location and stunning views. Perfect spot for swimming, chilling, reading or walking around Hastings and St Leonards."

A Short stay at Beauport park.
"Lovely caravan very clean and tidy with all the amenities you would won’t only draw back the garden isn’t secure and twice our dogs got out and although it’s not the owners fault walking them around the park at night you get a lot of speeding cars and the paths aren’t very lite, there’s also road ..."

A rundown place with more than its fair share of winos. The gay pride march was good and punctual

At Leonard's has s tranquil feel to it and has a good selection of eating places. The beach is a pebble one but great walk above or below the promanade. Hastings pier is walkable but the local authority often lock it up.
