I enjoyed the stay and it was very comfortable and our dogs were very happy as well. I love that this hotel is dog friendly. I love the moon theme as well. Staffs were very kind and helpful. Thank you for the great stay!

We chose this hotel based on its location. That did not disappoint. Nor did the kitschy moon theme throughout the hotel. In our room, multiple items were broken: the stopper in the sink, the TP holder, and the handle in the bathroom door (it would just fall out). During our entire visit, the beds were made with the flat sheets on TOP of the comforters. This was done for five days. Despite having a number of housekeeping staff people, dirty dishes and glasses were left outside in hallways and common areas for over 24 hours. When it came to the front desk staff, most were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday FOH staff people were lovely. On Sunday evening, there were two young white women who could not be troubled to look up from their phones for any reason whatsoever. I had an issue with a Grubhub delivery, which was not their fault. Their response was very rude though. They told me that another hotel guest had taken my food and that I should take theirs if it looks good, and then reorder. I went upstairs and called back down to see if my order had been returned. It had and the young woman on the phone said that the other guest "looked grossed out" and put it back. (It was Ethiopian food.). Terrible customer service and very culturally insensitive to say the least. Overall, I would say that it was fair. If you're a family that likes walkability, keep looking.

There’s absolutely nothing poor about this Hotel, it’s incredibly interesting and the staff and facilities are superb. Scott and Clay were top notch and took care of anything we needed, all the employees were there to help with anything. There are so many small intricate items in rooms and around the hotel that make it unique. The rooftop bar and view are wonderful and the area on the Delmar loop make it close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We returned after Les Mis at the Muny and the route back made it a quick return to the hotel avoiding nearly all traffic. I will be returning and recommend this hotel over any other in St Louis

Our Moonrise stay was excellent. We were pleasantly greeted by Charles, chief valet, and we decided to take that option. Checkin was smooth and Clay was very pleasant and informed of us the many dining and shopping options in the Loop area. The Loop area is great and we enjoyed the Walk of Fame. The hotel is moon_themed and very cool. Room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the bathrobe. Rooftop bar has a great vibe and nice views of area and even the Gateway Arch is the distance. Highly recommend.

Parking and reception staff were courteous and helpful. House keeping : Room cleaning service was very poor. Daily supply of toiletry, towels and morning beverages over a stay of 3 nights were never done unless requested and even then the job done was incomplete. Morning Breakfast: Called for In-Room Service and were informed that the kitchen was closed that morning with no breakfast served. Disappointing service!

I’ve stayed here many times over the last 15 or so years. Most recently this trip and then a few weeks ago in May. The front desk staff is always kind. The room lacked cleanliness in May and was even worse this trip. The robe hanging in the bathroom had old blood stains on it as did the sheets. The walls in the back room were dirty around the toilet paper dispenser. Some kind of dried brown gunk on the wall. The rolling door for the bathroom had hand prints all over it. Just disappointed in the cleanliness for the price of the room. Then the icing on top was this morning when house keeping was knocking on the door at 930am while we are still in bed (check out is at noon) and we had the do not disturb magnet placed on the door. My partner stepped out a bit later and house keeping tried to come in again less than 30 minutes after knocking the first time. It was frustrating. Not sure I’ll be staying again if I don’t see better reviews on the cleanliness. The hotel seemed cleaned minus the room.

Room was clean, people that worked at hotel were all nice hard working people, showers had low pressure and didn’t have hand held shower head, so it took forever to wash soap off off your body with the shower head mounted to the ceiling that came down like rain. Door was good in first floor restaurant and servers were kind.

This was our first stay and it was amazing! The location was great, parking and very easy and the area felt safe. The room was extremely quiet and very spacious. The Moonrise will be our new go-to while in St. Louis.
