"Villa Ice in Chalet Genf is even lovelier than the photos - a newly converted 2 bed apartment with sauna. The decor is mountain chic - fab views and in a Beautiful location right on the Nordic ski track. Check in was delightful despite our slightly delayed arrival (make sure you check out the tunnel situation if arriving via Switzerland!). "After four previous visits to Livigno, this was the worst accomodation we have experienced there. On arriving at the apartment we realised there was only a curtain in the bathroom which stopped short of the window sill by about a 6". When sat on the toilet, the people in the hotel next door could wave to you as you pondered. In the bedroom, one blind on the door but none on the windows so when you got out of bed, the people in the accomodation opposite could wave to you which was nice if you...

"This place is about 20 minutes from city center, not far from the lake. There is a Lidi supermarket at the ground floor. Watch out - the room lacks some of the basic necessities, not even a box of tissues. The electric stove does not work in the room, so we just eat out. We have been to a few different hotels and apartments in Switzerland during our trip. so far this is the worst place we have been to. "

"On the positive the room was clean, the bed comfortable, nice bathroom and came with a kitchen. It's situated directly across the lake from the train station with great walks starting just along the street. It wasn't so good on the little things that you would normally expect; no hand soap, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee, etc. Personally, given that it came with a kitchen, I would expect a few basics items such as condiments and paper towels. "Amazing place to stay. Firstly, the service was just great, and everyone there was so nice. The room was lovely, as was the food from the restaurant on the ground floor. Nice ambiance with wood fires in the reception and the car service to the station is massively useful! "

"Hotel Baren is a lovely Swiss hotel right next to the bus stop for skiing in transportation around. It’s right by the bobsled and the skeleton.The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever experienced. The Spa and Pool with both a hot tub and a sauna were wonderful. Don’t forget to book a masseuse right there at the spa. The staff is so helpful. The Mountain View‘s from our balcony and bedroom were lovely. "

"For a 4* property in St. Mortiz, this hotel is excellent. The staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. The photographs of the gym do not do it justice. The gym is excellent and far more extensive than it appears. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The location is superb in the centre of town. A most enjoyable stay. "
