"It was OK and reasonably comfortable for one overnight stay. The room was very cold, without apparent thermostat adjustment. "Interesting historic house, once a nurses home as it’s opposite a hospital! No reception, access via a door code sent to you by SMS on day of arrival. Except mine did not arrive. Had to work out who to phone (security guy) then was told room wasn’t ready. All a bit of a nuisance as we were tired after a long journey. But having spoken to the staff, ten mins later my code arrived. Total delay 20 mins. However, room was fine though very small, with useful kitchenette. All very clean...

"Arrival at property did not like the fact that there is no bathroom in the bedroom . Bathroom was down stairs and you can smell urine it so bad urine burnt my eyes. It was not conducive for my family . We left and send an email to customer care which was provided and no one provide a follow up email or phone call "

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was under construction at the time but everything was very clean and quiet. The location could not be better being at the harbor - 1 minute walk to Foynhagen, great restaurants, and quick 15-minute walk either to Slottsfjellet or the train station. We will happily return."

"The location of this hotel is great! Few food options open, but it was during the off season so it was expected. The hotel's food was still great though! I can imagine this hotel during the peak season is very busy - if we ever go back to visit we will make sure to stay here!"

Great experience/friendly atmosphere

"Stayed two nights at the place. The room was decent size for one person, with double bed. The room was clean, it was neat and well organized with everything you need. The bathroom had heated floor and clean towels were included. The breakfast was quite nice with a good selection of food to choose from. The staff is very friendly. Overall a very pleasent experience. Would recommend it for anyone."
