The Hidden Tiki

Cozy, detached, private mother in law suite in one of St Petersburg's historic neighborhoods. The suite is tastefully remodeled with fully equipped and all the essentials for a relaxing and fun stay. Two bedrooms, one bath, and a private outdoor shower. BRAND NEW ICE COLD AC!!! The Tiki Bar lights up at night and you can enjoy an evening outdoors! The other side of the cottage features a quiet oasis with gliders and café table for your morning coffee. We are specialized in 30 day or longer long term stays.

Lovely Stay
The place was very well-stocked with amenities. Cooked several meals and had all needed cookware and spices. Very private, quiet, and safe. Close to every thing - beaches, downtown, grocery stores. Beds very comfortable. Will stay again when in the area.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! We thought the place was really clean and had such cute decor that truly brought in a beachy/tropical feel. Checking in and out was very easy and Sam was available to answer any questions I had. We would definitely visit again.

Great hidden tiki
We enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet and was very close to downtown St Pete. The place was well equipped and had a lot of amenities. It was very clean and the host as very quick to respond to questions. The internet was not the best that was the only drawback. I would stay here again.

Lovely place in a great location
There are many things we liked about this property. It was an easy walk to Crescent Lake, Trader Joe’s and a variety of other merchants in St. Pete. The decorations are perfect for the house making it warm and comfortable. There are two great outside spaces where you can relax and eat a meal or just enjoy. There are two parking spaces right by the house.

Cute Place

Lovely Cozy Hide-Away
This is the most precious and lovely cottage with everything you could want! It is so clean and fresh and is decorated so beautifully. The tiki bar and patio area is a bonus! I love how close it is to downtown and yet how it is nestled away in a charming neighborhood. The property manager is incredible and I highly recommend this fabulous place to anyone looking to explore St. Petersburg and the enjoy some quiet downtime in a beautiful space!

Felt like staying with family . . . but with privacy!
We arrived late after a long 2-day trip so it was wonderful to arrive able to settle in and rest immediately. The home is spotlessly clean and ready for us to use without issue. No hidden faults like other listings. Laura was amazing to work with, kind and accommodating, and understanding of our crazy schedule. The home is close to the "action" and close to other buildings but situated in such a way as to feel private. Surprisingly quiet area. My daughter accidentally left a bathing suit there and Laura was quick to offer to mail it back. Will not hesitate to stay here again!

Great property!
This was a great little vacation house for my daughter and I! It's close to downtown and great restaurants and parks, but tucked back enough to where you're not feeling like you're in the city itself. There were some fun little amenities and decorations. The host was fantastic with communication. Notes for vacationers: 1) Parking is a bit of a challenge if you're traveling with more than one vehicle, but you're going to run into that everywhere in St. Pete. 2) If you're over 6 feet tall, you might find the bathroom and doorways a bit of a challenge, but if you're like me you're used to it. 3) The Wi-Fi is a little spotty in the house. If you find yourself having to work while on vacation, the signal in the house is usable for just about everything but zoom meetings. For those situations, the best signal is the incredibly charming back porch area. Have bug spray, there will be mosquitoes. This is just part of the Florida experience. To be clear, the above are not complaints. Most of it will apply regardless of where you stay in St. Pete/Tampa.

Fun little cottage
The cottage had 2 bedrooms, kitchen was well equipped, the back patio was cozy. We stayed here 3 nights for dance competition and downtown was few minutes away, beach 20 min away. Would stay here again.

Great Place to Stay
This was a great place to stay in a safe neighborhood, close to downtown St Pete and 20-25 mins from beaches. The place was the perfect size for 2 and could easily accommodate 2 more. The host was more than accommodating. Only thing to note, if you are working from home, the house is in a dead spot for Verizon (only 1 bar of service). My boyfriend and I were unable to hotspot due to Verizon’s dead spot, and the WiFi was not strong enough to accommodate 2 WFH workers (Zoom/Teams calls would barely load). We ended up having to buy clothes and commute into our offices. We would definitely stay here again, but just plan better for commuting into the office.

Our stay was nice until after we left. Sam/Laura who ever she is is trying make us pay for towels she says we “stole” from her property. My integrity is with more than paying $90 worth of towels we didn’t take. During our stay we had limited towels for our stay including only 4 wash clothes for three people for a week. At the end of our stay she asked us to put the towels we used into the tub for the cleaning people which we did put the three bathroom towels, 1 beach towel, 1 hand towel, and 4 wash clothes. She later claimed she was the cleaning lady instead of having some cleaners do it for her so there is a discrepancy there too which I have text evidence of. She wants to put blame on us for taking these imaginary towels she says we took just to get $90 of new towels which is dishonest and very petty. I will not be staying here again nor do I recommend anyone stay here for fear of this happening to someone else. I will also be reporting this to vrbo themselves do deal with this scam.

Great location, accessible to the bay and other places of interest. Facilities were nicely kept, well equipped, organized and cleaned. Very quiet and relax and cozy place. Directions to get to the place were a bit confusing, but the communication with the owner mitigated that very nicely. Would recommend.

This place was perfect! We loved the outdoor fire pit/bar area. We were busy for our trip, and the place had everything we needed in a small space. The neighborhood was nice and close to restaurants and the stadium.
