My husband and I wanted to explore the Gulf side of Florida after our cruise, so we looked for a house close to the water and not in a busy area. First, this was the easiest booking we have ever done, no unnecessary back and forth conversations, booked and done. Veronica communicated timely and succinctly. We found the house easily and it is in a nice neighborhood, everyone is friendly, and it is still fairly close to Hwy 19, so it didn't take us long to get to stores, restaurants, etc. It is around the corner from water; at the end of the main street, there is a retaining wall and we did walk over to catch the sunset. The house itself is set up fairly well, there is definitely plenty of room and two bathrooms are great even for just two people. It is clear a lot of effort has gone into making this a comfortable place to stay. The beachy decor makes it very homey and fun. The kitchen is nice, though, it would be great if there were a couple more "regular" size coffee cups, the ones that are part of the dish set are on the small side and there was one regular size mug and then an oversize mug. Otherwise, there was everything we needed to cook for ourselves. We used the grill to cook steaks and peppers on, which was fun. The pool is nice, but it was just too cold for us to ever use in January, unfortunately. Fred Howard Park is pretty close and a fairly nice beach. We drove up and down the highway, exploring the cute towns and awesome beaches. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend this house to anyone, couples and/or families. We would love to come back to the Palm Harbor area and would rent this house again.
