On our last evening we enjoyed an excellent and memorable dinner prepared by Nancy. The hotel is a short walk away from the lively town square of Maussane with some welcoming restaurants and open-air dining. On Sunday May 19th we watched a delightful display of local horse-riding skills in the town centre."

"Good news: the property and surrounding setting is beautiful. Your accommodation is a small apartment rather than a hotel room. The bedroom is separate. If, like us, you wanted to visit several spots in western Provence without changing rooms, this did serve us well. But be aware that everyplace from Aix-en-Provence to Avignon is 30 to 50 km away. I am a golfer, but did not try to use the course. But it looked beautiful as we drove in. Finally, the price was really reasonable. Bad news: if you...

"This is a delicious and well-run property with a long history. Everything was perfect..almost. Our suite was very comfortable, but it was VERY dark inside. It was long and the only natural light is from the door (glass). That was our main criticism. The only other little quibble is there was absolutely nowhere to hang our sumptuous robes, and so the cleaning crew (and it WAS a crew) took to hanging them on the shower door or folded (wet) by the tub."
