"The pictures set some high expectations, but the location was even more amazing. There is a cabin behind this one, but no one is close on the front, so the views are wonderful and the area feels very private. The cabin itself is very spacious, with high ceilings upstairs and a lot of sleeping options. Great outdoor seating on the porch, and a charcoal grill. The town is super small, but only a short walk away and there’s a great local pub right on the water."

"What a wonderful place to spend 7 days & nights. Done a fair bit of driving through the Fjords over a couple of trips and the road up to Urke and our final destination takes some beating. Amazing place. An added bonus was getting out onto the Fjord on the boat that comes with wth cottage. "This house is the perfect location if you want to get away from it all. The proprietors were unbelievably hospitable and kind. It is not unusual to be awakened by sheep bleating, along with their bells. The view is stunning, and because of the latitude, you get to see it very late and early in the day. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. If possible, I would definitely like to go back."

"Had some reservations based on past reviews but our stay was great. We had one of the water view rooms with a balcony. Nice view, clean, good amount of space. Excellent breakfast buffet. Easy parking available and walkable to shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. Would stay again if returning to Stryn. "
