"We arrived at the property and check in was simple.The property itself was very clean, simple, modern and open plan. It was very well stocked. There was a beautiful patio with outdoor seating. there was a fenced area at the front and there was a large area by the side of the pool that I can imagine would serve well as an area to use(it wasn't quite ready for our stay as was being fitted by artificial grass- this will be a bigger positive for the next people staying here!) Tom was the best host...

"The place was clean, and the heating was excellent during our stay ( winter time ). The car park is excellent too. It is basically right next to our accommodation. We will definitely come back and use this accommodation again. Highly recommended!"

"Spacious (Marquis) lots of space for 3 people. Very close walk to everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well appointed although we ended up only doing breakfasts in our room. Dining room table is large and good for playing cards (seats at least 6 people). Only knock was couch was ok but could have been a little more comfortable- maybe just add some cushions. Had elevator which was nice vs carrying luggage up 3 flights. "

"My wife and I stayed here with our grandchildren we all loved it. Plenty of room and 3 balconies. Very comfy beds and nice sized bedrooms. Only Downside is the steep stairs and the toilet is downstairs so going to the loo on a night is a bit of a problem but apart from that everything was good. Very near to the beach and restaurants and very good Baker. Bonus 2 bicycles for your use, excellent for the trip to the bakery"

"Met by host, Serge, who gave us a great welcome and intro to property. Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...

"Comfortable and close to everything"

"The apartment was fantastic - clean, spacious with chic furnishings (absolutely loved the sea-view window seat!). We had everything within the apartment that we needed for our 2 nights of stay - comfortable beds, kitchen appliances/utensils (no conventional oven), storage. All the street parking were paid parking during the weekends (just to be mindful of this if you are staying during weekends). We parked behind the apartment in a street for around 10 EUR for the whole day. There is a lovely...

"I had a few days to spend and found this suite to be excellent value and much more homey than a hotel room. Wifi was perfect, so I could work, and the sea a short walk away. The management was excellent to deal with and it was an enjoyable four-day break."

"The house is large and comfortable with abundant hot water and all necessary amenities. Within walking distance or a short car ride to restaurants and a 30 min drive to Ypres and WW1 sites. Owner was helpful and relaxed about the house and we had a lovely stay. Very happy with the house and location overall."

"WiFi was drop constantly. It would happen every 5 minutes. After I mentioned it to the staff it did get better but it would still happen throughout the day. This was not a huge deal but became frustrating when I was try to address an issue with a previous hotel and the WiFi would drop and it delayed my conversation with them. "

"Superior room was worth the extra cost, compared to standard rooms that we saw. Breakfast was very good and the service was very efficient and friendly. Our room faced the road and traffic was noticeable early in the morning. Our bathroom had an unpleasant drain smell which we informed the Reception of, but it was not resolved unfortunately."
