"This is an outstanding hotel with nice accomodations, friendly staff, and excellent location at a great value. The pool and spa are nice, and the breakfast buffet is a great start to the day. It is conveniently located to the bus transportation to all of the slopes, and is an easy walk from the train station. The room itself was very clean and modern. Our family was truly delighted with our stay. If you are considering, don't hesitate!"

"This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."

"The apartment was amazing with great views of the Matterhorn and a very large space, with lounge, dinning area, lounge, 2 bedrooms (1 upstairs) and 2 bathrooms, with 4 terraces. There is also a lift to your front door. The staff were great and very helpful and the facilities looked good, although we didn't have time to use them. I would have loved to give the apartment 5 stars, but like the hotel, it needs a bit of maintenance with the blinds, windows and light fittings."

A great surprise for us was the path, just at the end of the garden, who takes you on a beautiful trip around the mountain. There is other great trails further up the mountain (starts 10 min. away in car), with spectacular views. We used it for skiing, and tried Cervina, Valtournence, Thorgnon and Chamois. We had our best day at Chamois, even that's the smalles and cheapest ski resort I have ever...

The hotel has an agreement with a lovely ski hire shop which is fabulous as we could leave our ski's and boots there every day, it made such a difference to our trip. We used the pool daily, it was lovely after a day on the slopes. You have to book one hour slots for the pool which works well as it is never too busy."

The living space was oddly configured, in that the huge kitchen table is in the center of the only common area. One bedroom was in a sort of separate apartment with its own lock. The whole arrangement was highly functional. The space shown on the internet is for the upper floor. We had a wonderful time in Zermatt."

"This is a new hotel with spectacular contemporary design and great attention to guest comfort. Although the county road and rail line to Zermatt are close, the soundproofing is excellent and my room was totally quiet. Mountain views in all four directions. Direct elevator to parking. Two upscale supermarkets nearby provide lots of affordable healthy meal options. Transport connections to Zermatt are as convenient as if you were staying in Zermatt."

"Jaegerhof is a fantastic little hotel with friendly staff.The room was very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and a nice duvet. The complementary breakfast was simply amazing (loved the Bircher muesli) and the shuttle to and from the train station was much appreciated. If you are planning a stay in Zermatt give this wonderful family hotel a try."

"This hotel is super convenient to the train station(s), but it is either sound proof or the trains are quiet because we didn’t hear anything. The spa is great for relaxing. Staff were friendly and outgoing. Breakfast was great. We really enjoyed everything!"
