"A beautiful heritage estate of large proportions and character. The history was fascinating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were superb. A beautiful country setting with beautiful views of the river and farmland. Well equipped rooms, with all appliances you could ever need. Rooms were cosy and warm. We loved using the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Highly recommend and I would love to stay here again, given the opportunity."

"Check in instructions were clear and came in plenty of time. Mick greeted us upon arrival as he lives a few doors down. Parking was ample and felt secure off the road in a private car park. The house was very clean and well catered for. It had Virgin TV with most channels available, which was a welcome addition. "We stayed in an accessible family room, the bed was very comfortable, the sofa bed wasn’t so comfortable but managed to sleep and even though on a busy street the room was always quiet. The breakfast was good with a good make your own waffle option that I’d not seen before and had for breakfast both day. The only annoying thing about the breakfast area is the number of family that let their kids use their iPad with no headphones and volume on ( maybe head down early to avoid this)."
