Not complaining, cabin was exactly as described, comfortable and had all the kitchen extras! Downside was constant construction at the neighbors (can’t be helped but was unfortunate. We did expect more peaceful but highway noise waste

There were issues before the storm
We stayed in Beary Cozy, a clean well-appointed cabin with a nice kitchen that had everything we needed. The overall setup was cute, but there were several issues that impacted our stay. Unfortunately, there were no curtains or blinds on the main double doors, meaning headlights from passing cars shined directly into the cabin while we sat on the couch. Upon arrival, we noticed the L-shaped couch had a broken leg, and one of its cushions had a large dent. We reported this immediately with pictures, but received no response. The hot tub was also underwhelming, as only the left side produced bubbles, so we had to take turns enjoying it. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but the extra pillows helped. Things took a serious turn the next morning when a storm caused a power outage and several trees fell around the property. Though the utility company quickly resolved the initial outage, more trees fell, and we lost power again. Concerned for our safety, we made the difficult decision to leave a day early. When we called to inform the host, she was very kind and told us not to worry about the late checkout. However, we were leaving a day early, not just checking out late. We had checked in on Thursday evening and left before noon on Friday, though we had originally planned to stay until Saturday. While the cabin had potential, the issues we encountered, along with the storm, unfortunately cut our trip short.

Lovely log cabin
The cabin was beautiful. We loved looking out the windows. Driveway was hard to maneuver. No turn around, so had to back up all the way down driveway. :/. Bedroom is upstairs and stairs are rather steep. But…..we had a great time. :)

Wonderful cozy cabin that my partner and I loved!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would return! Location was great and central to the area's attractions. Our only suggestion would be a new couch for added comfort and a a wider area driveway near the cabin for a vehicle turn around to avoid the long driveway reverse drivie into the road...

Cozy getaway
The house was beautiful and clean with a perfect location as we enjoyed both Red River Gorge and the Natural Bridge parks. The only recommendations I would have is for the two doors to have blinds or a curtain for privacy and maybe a ceiling or floor fan for upstairs. This is it as it is a stretch to find a critique as we loved our stay!

Location was great!
The location was perfect for all activities in the area. Cleanliness had much to be desired. The cabin was not cleaned very well… furniture was dirty and very dated. Floors were dirty and everything was extremely dusty. Outdoor deck s were filthy. We had to wipe down everything before sitting down. The linens were clean and seemed fresh but, overall they could do much better with cleaning.

Just ok. /:
Owners/ management company were great. Communication and check in were perfect. Unfortunately, the place was pretty dirty and not very well maintained. Bedding was dirty, hot tub was scary and there were multiple half finished projects and things that just didn’t work. /: Also, u can see straight into the unit from the road….. and they are apparently building a new condo next door, which meant loud construction noises. Disappointing. Especially considering the amount we paid. /:

As listed, but mold
This cabin was cozy and as listed, but be forewarned if you have mold allergies: there is water damage and obvious mold on the wall above the stairs, along with mold on the top rafter. StayOver responded promptly and sent out a maintenance person, which was great, but he tried to assure us that the mold was just variation in the wood grain. Unfortunately I have experience with mold so I know this was not the case. We opted to sleep on the blow-up mattress downstairs because my allergies were too bad upstairs. It was a bummer. StayOver did offer to let us switch to another cabin, which was nice, but we decided not to make the effort given the likelihood of cabin mold. A nice location and cute cabin, if you can withstand spores!
