"Our group likes weekday fall trips once school is in session. We chose Bolger Lake, just a stones throw from Minocqua. Beautiful home and property. The sauna was a pleasant surprise, and several ways to enjoy the lakeside setting. Recommend to adults and families. Close to everything Minocqua has to offer."

"The house was very well stocked with kitchen supplies, plenty of paper products including toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. There were areas of the house that could have been cleaned better. The kids enjoyed the lake swimming, kayaking, and fishing. They were able to catch fish right from the dock. Location is secluded but yet close to many things to do. "

"We had a brief stay of two nights. It's a cozy place as described, and was relatively quiet despite being close to the highway. GPS had trouble locating things in that area. The double entrance driveway is actually slightly north of Monical's Restaurant. Look for the host's blue sign. The host responded quickly to a minor question we had. "

"The place was clean. It was really close to the water/boat launch. They were great with communiction, had quick responses. Overall a real pleasure of a stay. We would definitely be back!"

"We used the rental as headquarters for daily disc golfing excursions to the local courses. All guests had ample room. Operating light switches for common spaces was not intuitive. Also the lower patio door would not open from the inside. The front door locking mechanism was cumbersome with a 10digit code needed each time to open. On-site grill was not gas as the listing stated."

Great base camp for north woods trip

"This property served as a fantastic base camp for our annual trip to the north woods. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. On the first night, we noticed the exterior lights were not working. I contacted the host, and he had them repaired by the next day. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The bonus was the sunsets over the lake. "

A breath of fresh air

"My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. We enjoyed the deck view, dock, and campfire area. Also a great area for soaking in some fall color drives. Bond falls in MI is definitely worth the 1.5 hour drive from the cabin. We hope to take our kiddos back during the summer. The only thing we couldn’t figure out was the TV set up in the bedroom or bathroom. Ultimately, I was too busy reminding my husband who was the Yahtzee and Cribbage champ is so it didn’t impact our trip. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us!"

"My wife, our 2 year old and two dogs spent a wonderful week at this cabin. The cabin provided us a perfect location where we had lots of privacy and a beautiful setting to hang out and enjoy being a family.
