"The place wasn't difficult to find, I was a bit worried when I was booking. The location is great, it is close to a lot of tourist attractions. Our room had a wonderful view of the falls. The wind and rain were strong when we stayed, but there wasn't any issue. The room design was chic and posh. The kitchen was fully equipped. I wish they will have flexible/refundable booking option. It was also a bit pricey. I will recommend for longer stays. "

"The Westman Islends are an amazing area and a must do in Iceland. The hotel exceeded our expectations and the manager was unbelievably helpful. "Firs they forgot to send us the code for the lock box. With the bad signal I had in that location it was very difficult to call them. After about 5 attempts they finally picked up the phone and they give me the information which they supposed to do at least 24 hours before our arrival. "Check-in was easy, the rooms were clean and comfortable, there was a nice breakfast served every morning, the staff were super friendly and easy to talk to, the yard around the hotel made it easy to see the aurora borialis as the hotel is away from any commercial lights. We all loved staying at The Volcano Hotel and encourage others to check it out. "

"I loved this property. We had a private room. The area is dark enough to see northern lights if theyre out. The also keep coffe and tea in the main room and there was delicious cookies as well. It was an amazing little pick me up after going out into the cold. I would definitely stay here again."

"Very quiet and peaceful property right next to Skogafoss waterfall and Skogafoss restaurant (try the lamb shank it was amazing)! The hotels breakfast is very good and the staff is very nice! We really enjoyed our stay here. Not a far drive from the city center it was nice to be close to Skógafoss waterfall. 10/10!"
