"Die Lage ist super. Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, zum Teil ohne Auto erreichbar. FeWo gut und gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Nur die Putzfrau muss in bisschen gründlicher Arbeiten, aber nichts schlimmeres."

There is a very small kitchen, so do not expect to do large gourmet meals, but who wants to do that on vacation anyway? There are at least two grocery stores within a couple of miles, and it was easy to find quick to prepare food. The cabin is very comfortable, but do be aware that there are some very steep stairs. There’s a very nice little woodstove that came in handy...

"We had a great time in Bisschofmais, we had possibities for skiiing, not on the Geisskopf but 45 minutes by car at Groser Arber. The house was big enough for all of us and everything we needed was in the house. The living room was rather small but it was okay. I have one suggestion, the hoiuse is to full with stuf you don't need, maybe it is possible to create more space by taking away a part of the decoration. But besides of that, we intend to go back to this house in the future!"

A Great hotel in the great town of Straubing

"Great hotel, right in the historical center, walking distance from the train station (with a backpack, not a suitcase, that is), taxi, bus, main museums and the cafe that makes and serves Agnes Bernauer torte. If arriving after 11pm, contact the hotel beforehand and the arrangements will be made. Make sure you have breakfast included!"

"From the front desk to the waitstaff in the restaurant, everyone was friendly and could communicate with us as we didn’t speak much German. The food was very good at the restaurant and the location was right in the middle of town. If you’re from the states and used to cold A/C you’ll have to let that go and enjoy the “light” A/C. I highly recommend this hotel in Deggendorf."
