There are many stores around. Convenient for restaurants or shopping. The only thing is it's not close to the historical water front neighborhood. If you want to avoid paying high cost, this is the place to stay.

"Turned out to be a great choice for a week visit. There to volunteer for an event and this was within easy walking distance to the convention center, about 15 mins. The room was great with a view of downtown Minneapolis and nicely appointed. Plenty of room to move around, some desk space, a microwave, and a fridge and nice amount of space in the bathroom. The gym was great with plenty of equipment and a place to refill water on a regular basis. Morning breakfast was easy and convenient with plenty of choices. Staff was great throughout the entire stay. There's both a Whole Foods and a Targey within a mile radius of the hotel so easy to walk to along with a few other restaurants."
