"This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! It is very unique. The service was outstanding!"

"A lovely comfy home with a wonderful view of the Moselle, convenient parking, a sweet back garden and the surprise of an indoor pool, sauna and steam room for relaxing in after a big day of sightseeing. Checking in was a pleasure, made both informative and fun by the happy Mrs Schumaker. It was a delight to return here each evening, and relax in the cosy comfort of this house."

"Es handelt sich um eine wirklich hübsche und saubere Unterkunft. Der Vermieter hat uns nett empfangen und war für Fragen immer erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist für zwei Personen ausreichend und der Blick auf die Mosel ist wirklich toll. die nächste Straussenwirtschaft ist direkt gegenüber und die Anlegestelle für Moselschiffe ist auch nur ca. 50 m entfernt. Eine tolle Wohnung in einer tollen Lage. "

"A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. Highly recommended."

Als Anregung: Tischets und Untersetzer wären ganz gut...zur Schonung der Möbel. 1 kleiner Kleiderschrank wäre auch nicht verkehrt und evtl. 1 Stuhl um die Sachen abzulegen wenn man zu Bett geht. Lage ruhig, nur leider das Umspannwerk gleich neben an☹. Ausgesprochen nette Vermieter! Für uns als älteres Paar auf der 2.Etage und Freisitz im Hof mit Blick auf das Umspannwerk kommt ein weiterer Besuch nicht in Frage. Ch ch micht verkehrt, so...

Die Unterkunft hat Charme, ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und bietet genügend Raum um mit einer großen Gruppe zusammenzukommen. Die Villa war sauber, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und alles was man braucht war verhanden. Es wäre schön wenn in den Schlafzimmern ein kleiner Tisch und Stühle vorhanden wäre. Es ist aber ein großer Esstisch im Essbereich vorhanden. Ich wurde während unseren Aufenthaltes 60 Jahre alt. Ich bekam als "kleines" Geschenk eine Flasche Wein und eine sehr freundliche und liebevoll verfasste...

"The house is large with well-stocked kitchen and many areas for relaxing, eating and sleeping. We did not know we had to reserve the bedding ahead of time, so had no bedding the first night. This may have partly be due to lack of clear communication as the owner's English was not strong. The house also was not as clean as we would have liked and some elements were not working properly, such as one shower. The washing machine was not available (as it is shared) when we wanted to use it."
