"We stayed in January with 5 people for 4 nights in two of the bay view lodges. They were located side by side, so spending time together was no problem. We were extremely lucky with the weather and never needed the heating. However even if it would have been colder that wouldn’t have been a problem as there is heating all ariund the lodges. "My comments reflect a time only a few weeks after new owners took over. It was a well appointed, spacious apartment. The location is beautiful. The furniture and fittings are a little tired. I would have liked to know about the water issue - we would have brought supply to prevent the need to use so many plastic bottles. The restaurant as comfortable and adequate, pleasant and enthusiastic staff. Limited menu if you have dietary needs. "

"We stayed one night (Sunday 5th Jan), surprised to see room had no a/c. Initial thought upon arrival was I was on school camp. The downstairs area smells like it's covered in 40 years worth of dust with similar aged carpets. Morning upon leaving, the mens toilet in the lobby had no toilet paper. Meals in their restaurant were fantastic and so were the waitresses. Based on it's location, this place has so much potential to improve and leave a lasting impression."
