"Hotel was a convenient pick-up location for the tour I was taking and also for exploring the port and nearby streets. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the restaurant was noisy, even for dinner."

"The Royal is a very nice hotel. The only negative it is located on a busy highway. The road noise can be a problem to light sleepers. Great location for ferry users."

"Having booked a stay away for my other half for a chirstmas preseant (a bucket list one no less) I recieved an email from Tower guest, stating that due to an error, they would not be able to continue my booking. This meant I lost the accomadation (which I was give the money back) however this left me having to source new accomadation which was undue stress at christmas. I will therefore not recommend either this hotel or Expedia to anyone. "

"Great to meet owners lovely people helpful and thoughtful gave us good information about island and we enjoyed our stay , 5 minuets from Stornaway town centre by car . We had a great time done all the stone circle visits and went down to Harris beaches took 1 hour to get there well worth the visit ."
