the Bosses Settlement is a secluded, vintage cottage with a quaint kitchen. The wrap around verandah offers spaces to relax and connect with the people you love. The open space and location offer opportunities to explore nature and be in awe of the wildlife.

There are many adventures to be had, based from the Bosses Settlement. Gold prospecting, bush walking, local markets, picnics by the creek, swimming in Polly McQuinns. Immersing yourself in country charm!

Strathbogie farm cottage
The Bosses Settlement was a real find and surpassed our expectations from the moment we arrived. Picturesquely located in rolling countryside, cahrmingly renovated, very comfortablely furnished (esp the beds),the Settlemnet had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Apart from the house there were so many outdoor areas to relax in, verandahs on 3 sides, beautiful gardens and a fire pit area. The kitchen was well equipped and spotless and best of all stocked with freshly baked anzac biscuits, bread, organic milk, wine...I could go on. Great place for cycling too!
