"We spent a wonderful week in Moriston Cottage despite the rain. Everything was very clean and the cottage is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. There is everything in the kitchen if you want to cook and lots of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The beds are very comfortable. "This house is fantastic. Our favorite property in our month long UK adventure. The house was very clean, beautifully furnished and well equipped. All the appliances worked and the kitchen was spacious and modern. The location in Uig was perfect. Close to the major sights we wanted to see. Skye roads can be challenging and we were so glad this property was easily accessible. Our favorite thing about this house were the spectacular views! We lived our stay here!"

The Wi-Fi kept going off and we were unable to make the tv work but that wasn’t an issue as we were only there for two nights."

"A great place to start only a 5 mins walk to the bus station for a trip in to Edinburgh ,supermarket 5 mins away and petrol on the doorstep 😁"

"The croft house was idyllic, beautifully renovated and decorated with all amenities one could want. It makes a perfect home from home and base for exploring the north of the island. The host obviously cares very much about her guests and this is reflected in the house itself."

"The owner met us there and had the fire going. He was very nice and gave us a lot of pointers on where to go and what to see, not your typical tourist attractions. We were there for a few nights for our honeymoon and he had a little surprise waiting for us when we got there. If your looking for a quiet cool little place to stay I would highly recommend staying here. Our only negative was the bed was a little small for someone who is a bit taller."

"Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. "

"Gorgeous property with a real Scottish feel. Staff is fantastic, the food at the restaurant is delicious and the bar is cozy, with a fire in the cold months and a great selection of beverages (even better at Seamus' Pub next door when open (but it was closed for our stay being the off-season). The rooms are excellent, the bathroom is great and has heated flooring & a heated towel rack. There are even many snack and drink options in the room. The breakfast was included with our stay and the menu was EXTENSIVE. We had a full Scottish breakfast (and I mean FULL) and eggs benedict with a homemade hollandaise sauce and local eggs. Lots of walks and sights to see very close by as well. You will not be sorry if you're lucky enough to stay here! "

A beautiful cabin on a hill..

"We had a wonderful stay for a couple of nights at Bracken Hide. Everyone we met were super friendly and nice. We liked our cabin, nice view and cosy. We paid for the breakfast and it was great. They had a set menu to choose from. There were a lot of choices. We ordered the Scottish breakfast the first day and Eggs Benedict the next. Made to order cappuccino and hot chocolate. The area was a nice base to explore the rest of Isle of Skye. You have to walk a little bit to get to your cabin from the parking lot and from the restaurant but they offer to take your luggage in their golf cart. Will return again. "
