"Fab cottage in great location. Really suitable for walkers as there is a large utility room with plenty hooks for outdoor gear and boots (direct access from outside) Very big property for 6 people with a living room & sun room. Did not get a tv channels ( it might have been us not knowing how) but there was wifi so could watch on line on phone if wanted. Easy to get to Fairy Pools and I preferred the walk from Glenbrittle campside around the bay. Easy to get to Dunvegan & Portree."

"This house is fantastic. Our favorite property in our month long UK adventure. The house was very clean, beautifully furnished and well equipped. All the appliances worked and the kitchen was spacious and modern. The location in Uig was perfect. Close to the major sights we wanted to see. Skye roads can be challenging and we were so glad this property was easily accessible. Our favorite thing about this house were the spectacular views! We lived our stay here!"

The house it pretty centrally located to most skye treasures and the hosts did a brilliant job decorating and stocking the place to make it extremely welcoming for us. "The River View Cottage on The Isle of Skye in very beautiful surroundings. It is remote and quiet, but easily accessible from the main road A850. The cottage is very clean with a wonderfully appointed kitchen for those who enjoy their home cooking. Turn left from the driveway on A850 and it's a 7 minute drive to Portree, with a large CO OP supermarket that carries a selection equal to a large city market. We will definitely stay in this cottage again, should we plan a 4th vacation to Skye."

"We absolutely loved our 10 days in Flora's amazing cottage. Check in was simple and hassie free. It was very clean on arrival and was really well equipped with everything you could need for cooking meals. All appliances worked well and were very easy to operate. Very comfy beds, fluffy towels and the shower is amazing! "Overall, loved it. The location was excellent for the day trips we had planned. The main downside was the lack of a traditional shower on the upper floor. There was a tub with a hand-held wand thing in the master bath and that was the only bathroom on that level - the 2nd bedroom on that level didn't have access to a bathroom. Downstairs there was one bedroom and 2 bathrooms - one en suite and one right next to the room - both with showers."

"The cottage was tidy and nicely set up. We were a bit surprised with the lack of wifi and that there was really only a tub with a sprayer and not an actual shower, but both were manageable. The beds were okay, plenty of warm duvets. The view is amazing, we loved sipping our coffee or a dram from the kitchen and front yard looking over the valley. "

"This is a quaint hotel about 20 minutes from Portree. It was nice being away from the busses and major tourist city. The staff was SO nice! And the restaurant was very good. Be sure to get a reservation, as there is not much else up there. My husband and I had a room with twin beds, which was surprisingly lovely! :-)"
