Lovely Holiday Home In Karlskrona's Archipelago

In the skerries of Karlskrona

On the island of Sturkö you will find this lovely holiday home which has enough room for up to eigth persons.
There is a large hall when you enter the house and next to it you will find the bathroom with shower. If you go into the other direction you will reach the large "mission hall" with a high ceiling und combined with the kitchen corner and the living room which has a large dining table for up to 14 persons.
You will live here secluded right in the middle of Blekinge nature, beautiful walks and only 200 meters away from the Blatic Sea. There is also a camp site with place for bathing and footbridge and there you can also rent a rowing boat or canoe in order to explore the skerries by water.
As a day trip the visit of the coastal town of Karlskrona is already nearly a must. From there you can take part in a boat tour in the skerries, visit the naval museum of the town or simply go for a stroll through the town center.

Peace and quiet on Sturkö
We found peace and quiet in the little ‘chapel’ in Uttorp on Sturkö. Relaxing in the sun, swimming at the ‘badplats’ nearby and walking in the nature. One remark: some of the furniture inside the house is a bit worn.

Relaxing time on Sturkö
We had a great time on Sturkö. The accomodation is absolutely brilliant. The house is really nicely made and there was plenty of space for the 7 of us. Since we had really good weather we made use of the outdoor area a lot - with the big table, deckchairs and the lounge area, where you can even sit, if it should rain. With the bikes provided we discovered the iland and did most of our shopping - if it is open try the backery in Ryd (just 1.5 kilometers down the road). Just behind the house starts a trail through the nature reserve, where you can walk down to the southern shore to watch some birds - picking black and blueberries on the way. The camp site nearby offers kajaks for hire.We didn't do many trips, because we were mainly there to relax, but Karlskrona - either by car or if you fancy by bike to Herrgårdsviken brygga (Tjurkö) and then with the ferry - was quite nice. All in all we had a very relxing time and definetly consider coming again.
