"A very unique hotel!! Loved the old fashioned feel of the lobby. The Candy Bar was great, as was the coffee shop in the lobby!!?Room was a bit small for four of us. Would’ve been perfect for two. Could use a few more modern amenities (ie. hooks for clothes in bathroom, more/better lights, better thermostat). Great location and the staff was very friendly!! People Mover is right out the door. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed here for New Year’s Eve. Staff at check in and check out were very friendly and fun. We used valet parking $40 for overnight. Didn’t have to worry about the stress of finding parking in downtown Detroit on NYE. We had a river view room on the 17th floor. It was a nice size and great views of Canada and river front. Traffic was a bit nosey being right in the road but that is expected in the area. "
