"Lovely stay - very welcoming and flexible with check in time. Spacious room and quiet location. We were in a top level room which was on the third floor - be aware there is no lift as you would expect staying in a heritage building. Stairs were nice and wide which made it easier to carry luggage. "

"The historic home gave everyone their own space and plenty of activities. With loads of character and modern convenience we had everything we needed for a great summer holiday. With the weather being warm the pool was a welcome relief and had naturally warmed up to 23. The location was very central in burgundy and we had some great day trips. Highly recommended."

"The house and lovely shady park suited us very well as the weather was very hot. However the kitchen was far too small and inconvenient for a large number of people. We had problems with the pool, the water turned green and the cover jammed. These problems were dealt with very quickly by the manager."

"Bernard was very accommodating and provided a very clean and well equipped house to stay in. The downside was that the outside area felt like a building site. There was a half finished pond and decking area. The area around the pool is unfinished concrete as well. It is within walking distance to Santaney, but does mean it is on the main road. These things were tricky with young children and not clear on the listing."

"We were 4 retired couples from North America. We spent 3 nights here, and were very happy with the accommodations. It was clean and comfortable. Good amenities, including good Wi-Fi and unique pool. There was some vehicular street noise, in part due to being there during grape harvest season. We would all stay here again."

"This apartment was perfect for our Burgundy stay. We walked everywhere in town and on the outskirts too. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and the rooftop deck is attractive and has a nice rooftop view. Free, patrolled, parking (Bretonnière) is a 7 minute walk. There’s a closer lot, Louis Very, that we used to walk our luggage from-since a car was blocking the tiny alley the apartment faces. The host was kind and accommodating and came by to orient us. "The photos don’t do the small house justice. The owners are both lovely and go out their way to help you make your stay, the most enjoyable it can be. The views are fabulous and theres no mention of the long and short walks, that start 50m from the property, travelling through the Forrest and finishing at a pub/restaurant 1km from the accommodation."

"Truly rural getaway holiday home. Amazing views all around. Everything we needed in the house. Spiral staircase a little challenging but we were aware of that before we booked. "Un très bon séjour au sein de ce logement ! Fred est très sympathique et le logement était parfaitement adapté pour la famille (petit bémol sur le manque de casseroles mais c'est un détail). Nous y étions tellement bien que nous sommes finalement très peu sorti du logement ! L'extérieur est bien aménagé, les équipements de loisirs sont présents et la maison est grande et confortable. Je recommande à 100% et nous comptons bien y retourner !"

"We had a fabulous relaxing 2 weeks at ‘Moulin a vent’, with spectacular views. Great place for exploring the local countryside, whether on foot or bicycle. Very nice market at Chalon-sur-saône and Givry. Autun, Mâcon and Cormatin worth a visit."

"J'ai séjourné dans ce gîte pendant 3 jours avec mes deux petites chiennes berger des shetland car je me rendais dans la région pour un stage de mantrailing. Tout était parfait : propreté impeccable, endroit très calme, gîte très cosy. Hôtesse très accueillante et très sympatique et qui plus est adore les animaux. Je recommande les yeux fermés! Je pense que c'est l'un des gites de la région que j'ai le plus apprécié. Encore merci!"
