The property beautifully combines its historic charm with thoughtful modern updates, making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience. The attention to detail in the renovation is outstanding—the space retains its original character while offering all the comforts you could need. From the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, everything was spotlessly clean and perfectly arranged. The high ceilings and large windows let in so much natural light, and we loved the vintage touches throughout the space. The location is fantastic—just a short drive to downtown Apalachicola, where we explored local shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. It’s also a great base for nearby outdoor adventures, like visiting St. George Island or exploring the Apalachicola National Forest. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They clearly take great pride in this special property, and it shows.
