House is in a great location on Lake Marion. House is very dated but overall a very nice stay. Well stocked for dishes so easy to cook. Would definitely stay there again.

There was 14 of us total. There was plenty of room for everyone comfortably. The yard was beautiful. The enclosed back patio was used quite a bit. We definitely enjoyed our stay at the property.

Great lake house bunk house!
A good place for large group of people, we love the beach area but could be better maintained. Boat ramp and dock always great when you bring your boat. A simple no frills house lake that is comfortable and sleeps many people, I would still rent again.

We had a great time staying at this house! It was very spacious with plenty of space for everyone. We were a little sad about not being able to swim, but we understand that the lake itself has so much grass everywhere right now. We would definitely love to stay there again!

We rented this property May 30 - June 4, 2024 for a family vacation that included ages from two teenaged girls to 3 members in their upper 70's and it was wonderful! The two downstairs bedrooms were perfect for the older folks so they didn't have to worry about going up and down the stairs, while the younger ones stayed upstairs. There was plenty of room inside and out and we loved the back glassed in porch area for all day enjoyment. The private beach access was used and enjoyed by all. The pier was great for fishing and docking the boat to, as well as the teenagers hanging out there and jumping off. As we all came from different locations, in the state and out of state, the driveway offered plenty of parking for us all and was easy to maneuver if someone needed to go out somewhere. The property has 2 refrigerators which was perfect for all the food we needed for 5 full days we were there. The only thing that we felt was a negative was no ceiling fans in the entire place. A couple of fans on the back porch would have been ideal for keeping flys at bay when opening the doors and eating out back. The AC worked great, but I think most people here in the south are just used to ceiling fans in their bedrooms all year, but just my opinion. A great time was had by all, it was the perfect size for us and easy to find from I-95. I would highly recommend this place for a large family gathering and would definitely rent again if we decide to get together again next year!!!

Great location and house
While the fishing was not as good as we hoped it would be, our stay was still awesome. The house has everything we needed and more. Would definitely stay again if we go back to the area and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

We have stayed in this house three times over the past few years and as always it has been great! 10 people every one has their own bed, kitchen/ living area accommodate’s everyone with ease. The dock had ample space to tie up 5 bass boat’s, everything thing works like it should. Great place for our fishing group!

We had a great time celebrating birthdays this weekend. The boys mostly enjoyed fishing off the dock and the women enjoyed conversation on the porch. The house had everything we needed from cooking to watching football to sleeping.

Very well maintained home, nicely stocked kitchen with dishes, pots, pans, utensils etc. Home was very clean and no odors, comfy beds & a quiet, peaceful neighborhood! Very 70s style but comfortable. Plenty of room/beds for our party of 12. Having two refrigerators was great. The provided linens/towels was a plus and there were plenty of them. Great views, smooth water & easy access to the main lake. The grill does not work. Yard has plenty of room & nice shade in the AM. Having three trash cans to put the trash in when we left was also a plus The Porch is not climate controlled but does have multiple doors to allow a breeze which makes it semi usable. Boat ramp is large enough for a 20 ft boat or a double jet ski trailer & very convenient. A little shallow and too grassy to fish or swim from the dock. Had to rake out the area around the boat ramp to be able to use it, the end of the ramp & beach (which we could not swim at) were covered in about 4-5 feet of vegetation during our visit. Not the owners fault but we were disappointed none the less. Would have been nice to have been notified of the excessive vegetation/grass issue/condition of the water before we rented this home. The Entrance door knob sticks & locks itself, can lock yourself out if no one is inside to help open the door. We took to keeping the key on the porch & not closing the door tight, pushed it closed just so it shut but did not latch. The biggest complaint was the A/C units were both off when we arrived at 6:30 PM & it was 96 degrees upstairs & 86 degrees down stairs. It took until 11:00 PM to get the place cool enough to be comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location for some fresh air
What a great place to escape the city! Our family stayed here with our kids’ friends and 2 dogs, with the accomplished goal of unwinding before the school year. While feeling older, the property is very well-maintained and very clean. The sunroom can get very hot, and while there is an exhaust fan, it was infeasible to leave our dogs back there in the summertime. We locked ours up in the AC when we went to Walmart (about 30 mins away) for provisions. If you happen to rent the boat as well, do take note that the nearest marina’s fuel dock is no longer in service. The nearest one we could find was the 3rd one we tried, about a 45-minute ride away at the Marker 79 marina. We topped up right away and then again before leaving.
