"Booked property in February. Owner contacted me about 2-3 weeks before my stay of July 5th-7th telling me that the property was highly damaged. He was a little coy on whether we could still stay there. Luckily I was able to find other accommodations but a lot farther than I was hoping for. Tried contacting the owner to confirm he was cancelling my stay and refunding my money but never did hear back from him."

"The house was clean and as-listed by the owner. One of the four toilets was broken when we arrived and took most of our 4 night stay to get fixed. With a group of 20, having the basement toilet out of commission was pretty frustrating, but the owner did his best to get it fixed in a timely manner, so honestly I would still give 5 stars for that. I am giving 4 stars overall because the kitchen was not at all set up for a large group. There was a maybe 6qt pot as the largest pot in the house....

"Nice basement suite in occupied house. Easy access, close to where we needed. Like the community and all the trees. Thought we had the whole house based on the description, but neighbours above were quiet. And I didn’t see a hot tub. The oven was not working which was fine for us as we weren’t cooking but someone else would be unhappy. Thanks the stay! We may be back next year."
