Cherry Blossom Farm is a vintage farmhouse in a storybook-like setting, located just two miles south of the village of Suttons Bay. It is beautiful and a perfect landing spot for those staying in the Leelanau Peninsula area.

With five bedrooms and two bathrooms, the home welcomes up to 12 guests. There is one bedroom on the main level, and an enclosed porch is set up for relaxing and sleeping with a queen sofa bed. The remaining four bedrooms are on the second floor. Step outside and enjoy the trees, grassy lawn, fire pit, and patio with outdoor table and chairs.

Traverse City is 15 miles to the south, Leland is 10 miles to the northwest, and Northport is 12 miles to the north. Each charming town has access to water and offers something exciting for every visitor. Public beaches are located about 2 miles from the house in the village of Sutton's Bay. Enjoy festivals, farmers' markets, live music, art fairs, sightseeing, bird watching, hiking, biking, and lots of good eats here.

Your well-mannered pet is welcome. (Maximum two pets.) Please clean up after all furry visitors.

To top off the stay there was a magnificent show of the Northern Lights for two consecutive days while we stayed here. Just a couple of suggestions, you really need a step stool to get up into the downstairs bedroom bed off of the living room. That is one tall bed! Maybe a more comfortable chair to sit in to watch TV in the living room. Other than those two things, it was a very nice place to stay.

It was spotless, plenty of space, plenty of dishes and utensils, lovely kitchen for prep and visiting. Loved that it was so close to all that Sutton’s Bay offers, and also close to many other places. The only drawback was the road noise, even with windows closed. However, we would definitely stay again!

We wanted to find a house that had enough space and bedrooms to fit us and this was wonderful. felt so much like a cottage and so much space, the sunroom, living room and dining alone makes it feel big. the location was amazing, we wanted to go to sleeping bear dunes and go into Taverse City and this was almost right in the middle. a very cute little beach 3 min away with a playground. that was perfect for the little babies. The town was so cute and a lot of places to eat. the pizza place was amazing. would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was easy. The house was very clean, with the exception of the lady bugs in the bedrooms, but that wasnt a big deal for my group. We had plenty of hot water for 10 people to shower and still wash dishes. Loved the side porch for hanging out as well as the fire pit out back. The lawn wasnt mowed, which was dissapointing. This is our second time renting at this location. Some knives were pretty dull, and pans need to be replaced, but we managed.

Changes Should Be Made
The floor tile in the upstairs bathroom really should be replaced. So many cracks and missing grout. Also the water pressure in the entire house is poor. The shower heads in both bathrooms should be replaced. Extra blankets should be included in each bedroom. Additional dressers in some bedrooms would be nice as well. Rose Fagan

We own a vacation rental ourselves and we have our house fully stocked. The house was missing oven mittens, dish towels to wash and dry, more cooking utensils, knives, etc. In addition, a few of the blankets could use a good cleaning and/or replaced. Maybe window blinds on the front porch?

Weekend Getaway
My family and I stayed in the house for a little getaway between the holidays. The house is very close to all the local activities. It’s your typical old farmhouse. We all had our own room with the benefits of cable/WiFi through out the house. If you’re going in winter, make sure you drive a vehicle with 4WD. When we went it snowed and the driveway wasn’t plowed/cleaned. With a large slant it is difficult to get up in the snow. Luckily the rental company was quick to respond to bring us salt for by the door where it was extra slippery

Large home very clean with the exception of the windows that could have used a wash. Best air conditing system ever. Could use more kitchen utensils, grilled steak one night and had to go out and buy steak knives. The refigerator worked fine but was hot to the touch, may want to inspect that. Closets need empty hangers, bought those as well. I say these things not as a complaint but as suggestions to the owner. Would rent this home again. How cool is it to have a cherry orchard in your back yard?

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only positive things about this property are: 1. On Sutton’s Bay, 2. Enough no of bedrooms that accommodated our group. Everything else was much to be desired. It is an old house that has not been renovated/updated. The house smelled really musty. A lot of traffic noise, old kitchen appliances, very worn out furniture inside and outside, garage filled with broken items and empty boxes.
