Reasonably priced and very convenient room was spotless and if you are worrying about getting the train there town hall station is a 30 send walk walk away along with the tram station will use again

Twenty steps to Town Hall station, smack bang in the middle of everything, very convenient. Room was clean and tidy with the much needed super cold air conditioning for summer. Staff were very helpful especially Travis! My second visit to the hotel in 12 months.

I want to thank and commend the receptionist on the morning of 9 Jan 2025 for his understanding when my daughter was unwell with food poisoning. Your care and consideration made all the difference on what should have been a celebration day for her (her 18th birthday).

This is an older and small hotel above a pub. The room is very very small. However, the bed is excellent and the cleaning services are also excellent with optional daily cleaning service. The hotel itself is very safe. Don't forget to ask for a hair dryer when you check in they are not in the rooms. The pub staff in the afternoon, the Manager and the person who attends the bottle shop that is adjacent, were all very welcoming, kind, and personable. There is no front desk like a traditional hotel, you have to check in at the pub. It's easy. You are getting a good value for the price. It's right across the street and one building over from the historic Queen Victoria Building and around the corner from the Town Center underground train stop providing access to all areas. Buses are everywhere as well. If you get a room facing Park Street, be prepared for lots of noise. You'll hear the traffic and street musicians late into the night. I read a prior review and prepared with earplugs which they sell at the woolworths at the corner. I also ended the night with a drink at the bar and didn't hear a thing. Loved the location, cleanliness, value for the price. Bathroom is good as well. Many many places to eat in the area.

The location is great being so close to Hyde Park and Town Hall Station. Lots of good food and shopping in the galleries underground and everywhere around. I used this as just a place to sleep which was central to many walkable destinations like Barangaroo, Oxford Street, George St. It’s bare bones and the price was good for what I needed.

Great location!!! Right in the middle of all the Christmas markets, shopping, churches, so many amazing buildings. The staff was super nice and efficient. The value for location was very good!

This property is right in the city next to a Big W and Cole’s and a 2 minute walk to the Queen Victoria bldg. very handy to everything. Would definitely stay again. You can leave your bags till 3pm. Very nice room.

Felt very unsafe. Room didnt match the photos. Curtains didnt cover the window so light came in. Vert nosiy including internal noises from downstairs bar at early hours of the morning. Hardly slept.

This hotel is a great location, easy to walk and close to public transportation. The rooms are smaller, so if you have a lot of luggage I would upgrade and get a suit. They do offer a discount in their restaurants for people who stay. Also, super close to the QVB building and definitely check out the world square for other fun dining. We only had one snag with a manager who was very rude to my husband. We received a towel that had some stains on it and wanted to get another one. My husband was given a really hard time and the manager seemed very put out for such a small request. Even though we had a bad experience with him, we would stay there again.
