Better than ever, staff interaction and communication from airport transportation to check in, housekeeping, breakfast, towels, drinks at the bar, food at the restaurant, all well above our expectations. "This was our first time to Roatan and after reading tons reviews we settled on Banarama. We were so happy we did we loved everything! We barely wore shoes of any kind all week we were so close to the beach it was amazing. The breakfast was super great, the bar was fun, pizza was incredible and everything we ate from the cook was delicious and perfect. I would describe it as “lodgey”. The room was Small but clean and cleaned everyday. The fridge was super cold and having the fresh water and sink and microwave and coffee pot in our room was Awesome. Walking distance to several little stores and coffee shops and tons on restaurants up and down the beach. The water was crystal clear and we saw tons of starfish in the water right out front of the resort. We will definitely be back! "

"the staff at Paradise Hotel were friendly. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. It was family friendly I went with my twelve year daughter and she had fun playing in the pool with other children. There was different entertainment at dinner each night. We really enjoyed the Garifuna people dancing punta that was our favorite. Two things they need to improve. When taking a shower hot water runs out immediately and there was no dresser in the room to store clothes."

"Everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff and manager, Angel, made us feel incredibly welcome. It was our first time in Roatán, and staying at La Placita truly made it special. What makes La Placita unique is its charming shopping center filled with local restaurants — and we had the chance to try them all! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We highly, highly recommend dining at the local spots on-site. Be sure to try the three lobster tails special and the tacos Catrachos — both were unforgettable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. A big bonus included with our stay was free breakfast, which was such a great way to start each day. La Placita has a wonderful reputation for making sure guests are enjoying their time, and most importantly, we felt safe from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely be back — next time with friends and family! A special shoutout to Andy — our amazing tour guide throughout the entire trip. He took us all over the island, showing us everything from local hotspots to cultural gems like the chocolate factory. He’s down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and made sure we always felt safe and comfortable. Having him as our guide was a major highlight of the trip and another reason why La Placita stands out.
