"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"We all enjoyed our stay at the Les Tramois. The cottage is really charming and is set in a beautiful location. There are horses, a donkey, peacocks, fish, hens… Our children loved interacting with the animals, jumping into a huge paddling pool as well as doing archery and bouncing on a trampoline. Lots to do for the young! There is a nice woody walk and a well equipped charcoal bbq. Fabien is a wonderful unobtrusive but very helpful host. Thank you for having us!"

"Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. "Das Haus ist sehr schön und absolut ruhig gelegen. Der Ort ist sehr klein, aber man direkt von dort zu schönen Spaziergängen starten. Der nächste Bäcker mit leckerem Brot und Croissants ist mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten zu erreichen - in Nuars. Abel hat uns herzlichen in Empfang genommen. Er hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und uns auch Honig vom ortsansässigen Imker besorgt - sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten gibt es in der Nähe (ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto) einen schönen Badesee, der nicht zu überlaufen...

"We loved our time at Champallement which is a very pretty village in beautiful countryside. Our host was extremely helpful prior to arrival and the house is just as described in the listing. Comfortable beds, high quality dishwasher and washing machine, a good garden for us and our dogs (though a determined dog could escape quite easily). Kitchen was well equipped but small for more than one person. Very good shower. Fantastic dog walks all around and lakes for swimming just 15 minutes away...

"This house is a true gem and it was hard to leave. The location is perfect (just steps away from local shops), the house is breezy and cool, rooms spacious and clean, view from the house sublime, garden a perfect place to play (there are a lot of games for children), and the hosts were a dream.
