  • Last night we went to a Taoist Temple in Taipei. You can see in the close up picture of people praying how they receive and answer immediately from the prayers. After kneeling and bowing, you throw two "stones" onto the floor. They are both crescent shaped with a sun and a moon side. If they end up both on one side, the answer is NO. If they end up both on the other side, the answer is maybe, or not enough information. If the end up like a ying and a yang, then the answer is YES. I took a moment to pray, asked my question and got a ying and a yang out of the throw. The belief is, that the result comes from within your own heart.

Very nice place to stay! It has everything you need, with 24/7 front desk available. And the hotel is near the Taipei Bus station just 5min car ride, which is convenient if you take the 1819 Taipei bus for airport transport.

Check in was smooth and staff was very friendly. Our stay was pleasant and room is clean. Hotel location was convenient and accessible to a few MRT stations. Our only complaint would be the walls are very thin, you can hear the neighbors phone conversation/TV.

Great location. The hotel is a 7-minute walk to Shuanglian Station with lots of restaurants close by. Hotel is a bit dated and rooms are a bit small. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Free snacks and beverages in the common area.
