Don’t get fooled by its look outside, it’s a gem inside. Snacks, coffee, tea available 24 hours. Room is equipped with all necessities including an electric back massager and slippers. Via Hotel was very central: easy walking distance from Taipei Main Station and Xiemen district but far enough away to be very quiet and safe. The hotel staff were excellent and the friendliest we had encountered during our whole trip. I could tell they really cared about their guests. Unfortunately, the room condition was lacking. The room was very clean but it smelled very musty/moldy maybe from water leaking. The wallpaper looked like it was discoloured and peeling away from dampness. I also noticed a leak at the corner of the shower. I hate to give this review b/c the service was outstanding. Maybe it was just our room and not a reflection of others.
