My guide had no idea about wildlife, didn't bring water on a 5 hour drive, & took my camera without permission & started taking photos of me. "Absolutely loved our time at Basecamp. The location is perfect, at the edge of the Masai Mara, we heard the lions at night, while sleeping. "Moldy bed sheet, dirty light switches, broken bed net. Smelly bar area. When I reported the above issues, 3 groups of staff came and decided to offer me a bottle of free beer ( wine). I don’t drink beer ( wine). Then the manager knocked my room door twice to force me to accept it. I paid $NZ 1100 per room per night. This is the worst 5 star hotel I have ever experienced."
