"We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Playa Tamarindo early May. We were very please with everything related to Hotel La Palapa. It’s a treat to be able to stay at a beachfront hotel and walk to the beach. We were also pleased with Rolando the hotel manager. He was very friendly and gave us good recommendations. Ana, the cleaning lady was also wonderful. We hope to return someday soon. We live in CR, and our drive is almost 5 hours and this hotel makes it very much worthwhile. We had been in Tamarindo once in ten years and we had forgotten how beautiful and big it was. "

The grounds are breathtaking and as a small boutique hotel, it is a quiet refuge located at the very end of the busy Tamarindo strip.
